I'm not ashamed to say that the "Square Butts" commercial is a favorite in our household. :) But, oh, BK outdid themselves with their "Kingons" idea.

I saw pics of these guys about a week ago at the Star Trek premiere. I thought the costumes were funny and cool all by themselves. But then BK had to go and build a website around them. THIS (http://www.whenkingonsattack.com/index.html) is some funny stuff. :D

They "Typewriter Attack" is my favorite.

Pointless Trivia: I waited on Sir Mix-A-Lot a few times when I worked at Red Lobster. He is a horrible tipper. And a bit of a jerk.

I did. I worked on-and-off as a waiter for many years as a second job. I met Sir Mix-a-Lot several times in Seattle. I also waited on quite a few of the WWF classic superstars (Lou Albano, Paul Orndorff, Abdullah the Butcher, British Bulldogs, etc) when I worked in Atlanta. :)

Also Jeff Foxworthy and Elijah Wood. Not sure who else...

Wow. Nice. How was it, meeting Elijah Wood? Must have been relatively cool, assuming he's not a jerk.

Whoa. :D Sir Mix-a-Lot? The only famous people I met were Drake Bell in New York (Drake & Josh), Keith Carlock in Toronto (Played with Sting and on SNL), and, Eddie Van Halen also in Toronto, also. They're all pretty nice guys.

Dave Chapell lives fairly close to where I live, but I digress.

Japester, you should ask BK for money for all of this publicity you're giving them.

Wow. Nice. How was it, meeting Elijah Wood? Must have been relatively cool, assuming he's not a jerk.

He was a nobody back then. :) This was in 1993, during his filming of "The War" with Kevin Costner. Elijah had only done a few movies at that time, and he was a little kid. His handlers hovered over him, and he was kind of shy.

It actually turned into something amazingly cool because I eventually took over another table (about 25 people from the production came in to eat one night) that had all the other child actors from the movie. They were trying to give me a hard time, and I was having fun trading insults with them. I was appearing as Kenickie in Grease at the time, so I wasn't in awe of them for doing a movie I knew nothing about that. LOL. They thought my attitude was so funny that they got me a part as an extra. I did 3 days of shooting with about 600 other extras, then they did some indoor scenes with Elijah and Kevin Costner, and the director picked 12 extras to do those scenes--including me! So I spent 2 more days rubbing elbows directly with Elijah and Kevin (who was a huge name at the time). It was a ton of fun. I've tried to spot myself on the DVD, but I'm always just out of frame or too far away. Rats!

Sir Mix-A-Lot was a bit of a jerk. Jeff Foxworthy was a HUGE jerk (very stuck up and rude). Lou Albano was nice. Paul Orndorff was a total gentleman--very humble and warm to his fans who asked for autographs. Abdullah....might have had some brain damage (he started off into space most of the time).

I've run into other celebs, but these were the only ones I waited on. Rodney Dangerfield had the same spinal doc as me, so I ran into him once and got his autograph. That was cool.

Publicity? Nah. People have been commenting on the BK site all over. It's a hoot!

lol he was a pooper eh??

Yea...its unfortunate when celebrities let it go to their heads a little bit. They either think they are better than everyone, or else they are so sick of ppl coming up to them that they are just douches to everyone.
