First of all, I just happened to be watching mafia documentaries and some stuff from The Godfather all night and stumbled across a picture of the young Marlon Brando. When I saw this picture, the first thought I had was; "that look on his face.. where have I seen that before?" and I remembered Vito from one of the many screenshots we've seen lately.
I'm sorry if I've made another "useless thread", but I just wanted you guys to have a look, in case you hadn't seen this :D ! (Although I think most of you have). I just couldn't find a good thread to post it in. But anyways..

The 1st Vito - yes.
But they - 2K I mean - already said it here on the board that they re-worked Vito since the 1st trailer we saw, and he's much less Brando-nish now :( and I think that's the final version of him.

Try mafia-daily.net tey have just added new screenshots from the gameplay with joe's apartment and we can see some of the HUD plus Vito looks a lot like Marlon Brando then that picture of vito...:) try it

he does look like Brando... i don't think anyone can deny the resemblance.
but i dont think 2K will comment about it because you never know if they could get sued nowadays for some BS, sadly. :(

Yeah, it's sad. Back in 2003 some wrestler nicknamed Maxx Payne sued Rockstar and claimed they had been inspired to "steal" his alias to make the game(s), or something like that.
Abit off-topic, I know. Sorry 'bout that :)

No one has been confirmed it.
Perhaps circa 30s. Late 30s. But that's just speculation.

I think early 20s. He goes to war, so he must be ~20 and the story unfolds after the war, so i think 1945 - he is 25 years old. Meaning he is born 1920 - 1921.

He doesn't have to be 20 to be in the war, could be 18.
+ the americans didn't get involved in the war until 1941, so he could be born a few years later ;)
I even think the americans only got involved in Europe in 1942.
And even then, he could be enlisted later then that (at D-day, 1944)...

If he would have been enlisted at the age of 27, that would be too much. He doesn't look that old. But yeah, will see the official info.
It would be funny to see him with mustache on later missions, as the time progresses.

cant doubt the resemblance, I like the brando version of him. Why change it except for legal issues?

he still look like Marlon Brando,but on the first trailer when sitting at the table with deluca he doesn't......I think they change him already to look more like Marlon
