Mafia 2 ... BY FAR!

(fairly big gap here)

-Hitman 5 (PC) (barely anything is known about this at the moment but im pretty sure i seen a article that it was being made)
-Forza Motorsport 3 (XBox360) (supposedly this comes on 2 DVD's this time since it cant fit all the tracks etc onto one disc :) ... and i think it's due out later this year but i dont know if it's official or not. and 'Forza 2' is still prety much the primary (if not only) REAL reason i bought my XBox360 to this day as Forza series in general is hands down the best simulation racing game out there when played with ALL ASSISTS OFF ;) (it makes it more fun/challenging that way) )

and that's about it unless there's some surprise hit out there which i doubt.

EDIT: i just read MafiaFan's post... i guess ill add 'Diablo 3' (PC) to that list since i liked the first two quite a bit in single player as there pretty much the ONLY RPG games i liked quite a bit in general.... and ill bet most of the people on this forum are probably to young to remember Diablo and Diablo2 since Diablo 2 was released back in 2000. dang, i cant believe it's been that long already lol

Ahhh...Hitman 5 (PC). I'll have to keep my eye on this. I like smart games (games that play smart and require a bit of skill to master). Although Mafia wasn't that difficult, you couldn't just go into a crowded room and start shooting like imbecile. It was very appealing to my methodical side.

Mafia was about as difficult as you're going to see for this genre of game. For this, it gets a thumbs up. I hope it ends up being more challenging than the first, though I doubt it will. I hope 2KC's desire to make it "fun" on both platforms (read, consoles) doesn't adversely affect the challenge-factor. :confused:

well i think someone said that Mafia II will have selectable hardness like Easy-Medium-Hard etc ... which IF true that should help compensate in the challenge dept. especially if the game is made to be 'easy-ish' from the get go.... but if there is easy-medium-hard stuff, ill most likely play my first playthrough on no easier than the Medium setting.
