Did it ever occur to anyone that he could be dead already?

He only speaks to the player through pre-recorded movies and audio tapes never live like Atlas does.

Also in the demo while walking to the elevators you hear a splicer say something about "Tell Ryan I'm sorry" and then when you ride the elevator up if you explore the area to the right you see a shrine for someone with a picture of a man that looks like Andrew Ryan.

It's possible he may be dead already and all the movies and audio of him are some type of security system.

Three words to ruin BioShock:

You're Ryans son?

OR

Ryan's already dead?

Any thoughts?

There could be a possibility that you're his son, wasn't the character talking about his father in the begining before the crash? My fan was on so I couldn't hear it that good.

That's certainly a possibility, as I've said in a previous thread, the tattoos on your wrists seem to indicate a possible connection to Rapture in previous years.

Still, it seems a tad odd that Atlas would still believe you are trapped with his wife after so many years have gone by.

I am relatively new to BioShock however I did see a picture of a splicer dressed in football gear with Atlas' name on it on IGN. It seems like he was at the top of the social chain in Rapture.

I don't believe I offended anyone by saying you are "trying too hard". It could be a compliment, but whatever floats your boat.

Calm down, guys! I think the "Pigskin" splicer is a scrapped idea, but who knows he could be in.

Very nice Theory I do think it is a bit odd that all of His Scenes were Pre-Recorded or somthing.
