This a place to share other stuff, which is somehow related to Bioshock.

You want to recommend movies, which have something in common with Bioshock? Post them!

You think Art Deco is great and you like to share names and work of great artists here? Show it!

You have read a book or listened to music, which might interest fans of Bioshock then let us know.

This is meant to dive a little bit deeper into the materia.

My first recommendation: The artist Edgar Brandt. He made great Art Deco ironworks, which are just beautiful. Maybe you like to have a look.

There is an excellent work of art-deco ironwork as a facade for the Marine Building in downtown Vancouver not but 5 blocks from my apartment:

It's the only art-deco architecture in the downtown core, and really sticks out among all the modern Victorian, Deconstructivist, Brutalist, and Neoclassical mishmash of buildings surrounding it. Vancouver being one of the youngest major cities in the world, and quite multi-ethnic, it gets a random variety of architecture for the major commercial buildings.

Here in New Zealand, the city of Napier (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Napier%2C_New_Zealand) was extensively rebuilt in Art Deco (http://www.artdeconapier.com/) after a devistating earthquake in 1931.
