He said "My parents always said i was destined for great things....they were right." Im think he sid that or something like that. I played the demo but i just cant remember it that well.

Trust me, when you hear his words, right at the very beginning, you feel as if you're at the movies. The whole opening is AWESOME.

Awesome, I assume that then he was going to to America* or Europe to get a big job in some large buisness.

*Call me crazy... but it seems like he is heading west for some reason... Or at least the light house is to his NWWW. (Nort West West West means he is going west, and only slightely northbound angled.)

In real life I can tell what direction I'm facing usually. Although that might just be from recognizing land marks.

anyone know if there is an actual explination to WHY you randomly inject yourself? I hope at least if you're waiting around long enough Atlas will tell you to

The plasmids require a substance called EVE. EVE is represented by the blue bar under your health bar. You can get eve hypos, and thats what he's injecting himself with. Whenever youv'e run out of your eve, if you have a hypo, the character automatically injects it into himself.

I was just about to post this...

There's definitly a plasmid we haven't seen before, near the beginning. The one where there is what looks like a ghost and the splicer attacks it.

Just finished watching the 20min or so long stage6 playthrough. Can't wait to play it on my computer now :mad:

Who ever made that video did an awesome job. Video and sound quality made it look like i was there playing along side him (heh, he really sucked a bit though). Just god dammit i wanna play this game now.

Few things I've noticed while he was playing, the water effects are gorgeous and walking through a waterfall = waterlogged camera.

Anyone wonder if perhaps the character is responsible for the plane crash, hence "destined to do great things" as if he knew about rapure or is just insane lol.

also, he has chain tattoos on his arms, and when you jump up and down you can hear rattling...like chains....

I think it might even him thinking back about his visit to Rapture. The plane we see at the begging is the one that takes him back home, and the one that crashed was one on the way there. The present? I thought I saw a word shaped like "Atlas" anyone want to take a look?

The "ghost" is a plasmid. It's a decoy of sorts.

Also if you guys listen to the diary of "New Years Eve Alone" right after you hear chaos break out, you'll hear someone scream "Long live Atlas". Just thought I'd point that out. And do you think EVE has anything to do with New Years Eve because it seems like that's the last civilized thing that happened before Rapture when into anarchy.

If you did it looks alot better then Gears of War, I played both on an SDtv and Bioshock looks fantastic, I just don't have a video.

Is anyone going to post a video playing on medium or hard mode? The only videos I've seen are of people blundering around on easy mode.

I'd do it myself, but I've no way of recording or filming it. I'd like to see some people's tactics for the last fight. I usually just electrobolt the water, but it's fun to let the hacked turret and security bots fight the Splicers too.

That xf1stx guy sounds like he's trying way too hard to be funny in the beginning.. Also sounds like he's got a few emotional issues going on with how many times he insists on dropping the F-bomb.. Not that language offends me, it's just annoying as hell.

One: The guy who did the crappy "review" (if you can call it that) clearly is a dumb duick, he just bags the game for no reason. If it's so bad, why the frickin' hell did he spend half a day downloading the demo?

Two: I have made a list of scary things that happened in the demo,
SPOILERS IF YOU HAVEN'T PLAYED IT YET....
1. When you walk into Rapture and the light switches on, that was pretty scary.
2. When you go into the bathysphere, and the wall first rushes up to you (for some reason this was the scariest part, it made me jump).
3. No more I can remember (but probably with other people, there were just random points that they jumped in because they were so happy they were actually playing the game.)

If the framerate stutters, thats just because of fraps slowing it down.

I'm running with everything on frames at 1300x1000 somewhere around there.

Also, it's really dark, but only because I turned the darkness down in game because I felt it was too bright.

It does have some spoilers, it does have a lot of stuff that's already been shown, but maybe some stuff that hasn't been shown. I'd be willing to make another video too.

Demo Introduction, plane crash scene and up to docking. Recorded the second stage too, but quite large, will encode it later as well. Seemed to have lost a lot of quality on the video, even though I had followed the instructions (640x480 30FPS, 5mbps, MEPG4) GV still dropped it down a bit., anywho, not too bad I guess.

This splicer kept twitching after he was dead. I kept lobbing (long range) ammo at him thinking he was still alive somehow. He is halfway through the floor with stuff coming out of his head:confused: !
