Hopefully, we can gather some improvements and suggestions for the game, based on your gaming experience.
The demo was not the final game, but maybe there are some ideas coming to your mind. We could use this thread for the final game, anyway.

It's a bit late to make suggestions for the game now that is in production. Besides, judging from the demo, I don't have any suggestions/recommendations that would make the game any better than it already is. I just hope we PC users get a demo before release so we can have an idea of how the retail game will perform. I'm 100% sure I'll be running this game perfectly fine, at high settings, but I'd like to check it out and see for myself.

I don't like the way that your guns disappear once you run out of ammo. I would still like to be able to hold the empty gun lol =P

Based on my experiences with the demo, I really think, even the existence of a multiplayer mode, would diminish the ambience and experience of playing through the story of Bioshock. Being able to mindlessly run/gun thru Multiplayer maps of existing game areas would diminish the tension/ambience/character/whathaveyou imbued in those areas of the game...
Just my opinion

i have to agree. i would love if when ou ran out of ammo you could use the gun as a melee weapon or it would auto switch to your previous weapon.

At first at was a little bit difficult for me that you have to switch to the proper weapon for reloading/refreshing eve. You firs thave to equip the pistol e.g. for reloading and then you have to change to the plasmids for eve. If you need to prepare for a battle quickly, this change is a bit difficult.
But I can understand that it makes sense in the game world (you mostly need two hands for reloading/recharging one thing). Doing both together sound unnatural.

Sadly, it's a bit late. The game has already gone gold so no changes can be made.
Well, they could always release a patch or something for bugs, but that's it.

I think that the splicers need a little more health and tune down the power of the wrench.

Yep, but I am still not sure if we should be happy that patches are possible for 360, too. There is some space for improvements or minor changes then...

This might have been posted, but it would be nice if we could see the character's legs/torso, similar to FEAR. That being said, the game comes out in a week, so I think this topic is irrelevant :p

How can you say that its not the final game when there is a week to go and ive had ppl playing the full game for a month now?

nah, it's not too late. Dev's occasionally make some pretty major changes in patches, so you never know what they might decide to alter.

Hmmm regarding the visible torso/legs, I could have sworn someone said you could see them. Yet in the demo I am a floating head....

I was thinking that the point of this thread was a BioShock 2 type of thing.
At least, thats what I thought made sense.
Tourist, you think it would be a good idea for a mod to change the title? Better than letting a perfectely good thread go to waste. ;)
As far as suggestions for BioShock two, I think it would be cool to have a gun in one hand and a plasmid in the other. Do you think that a 'dual weild' tonic would be a good idea? It would be like the 'burst shot' in SS2. You'll be doing more damage, that's for sure, but you're expending more energy, etc.

You know, it's weird, i can't really think of any suggestions or improvements. I'd say that's testament to how well the game is envisoned and executed.
One thing though, using the electroshock plasmid seemed to eat way too much EVE and I was constantly injecting myself in firefights, but that may be due to heavy handed use of the LT trigger - likewise goes to the apparent lack of range sometimes on my plasmid - or maybe it was my poor aim. I'm adjusting to the gameplay.

I was flushing some of the toilets in the bathrooms, and I noticed that after a few seconds the water in them just seemed to disappear, instead of going down. :D
Just something I noticed.

Actually i thought of something, after playing Oblivion and Condemned, I was expecting to be able to block with the melee wrench but found myself not being able to and instead being struck frantically by the splicers.
So, i would like a block function - unless it's in there and i didn't figure out how to do it.

it annoys me how you have this incredibly interactive world, which alloys you to hit stuff with a wrench, shoot stuff, and (eventually) use telekenises to move things, and yet you can't do something a simple as picking up a suitcase with your bare hands. I know its pretty irrelevant to gameplay, but it just kinda bugs me. I liked how in half life 2 you could just pick random crap up and move it around with your bare hands.
besides this, though, everything was awsome. The enemies were challanging, ie the splicers with guns are great at strafing, dogding your shots, and shooting at you. I liked how you have the option to turn off the quest arrow and auto aiming, if you feel so inclined.
but yeah... doesnt matter now eh? 7.5 days!

Would that the Atlai had heeded the criticism of the their contemporaries.
