Subtitles

Will there be subtitles for Bioshock? I ask 'cause I'm a deaf gamer, so for me they're super-necessary.

I'm not sure but I think I've heard it in one of the podcasts, that there will be subtitles. :confused: They would come in handy for me too, my native language is not English and it would help me understand everything correctly. :)

I think I heard (sorry for the pun) a confirmation for subtitles being included. Every story game has them now-a-days, anyway. So, you're good to go ;)

yeah i'd agrre too but hopefully the writing will be readable on sdtv unlike dead rising for the 360

With my bad hearing, subtitles is pretty much a must for me to enjoy the game.

There are exceptions, though, like the Thief games, for example. But the lack of subtitles in the movie sequences still annoys me greatly.

I am eagerly awaiting this game, but as a deaf gamer I am concerned since no screenshots or movies I have seen have subtitles or captions. Will there be anything like that? Thanks for any info!

Most,if nearly all games have a subtitle option nowadays.I'd be very surprised and dissapointed if the game were to buck this trend.

Yes, there will be subtitles available if you want them. They can be disabled if you prefer not to see them.
