Demo Impressions?

Sorry if I posted this in the wrong place. But oh man after playing this demo (5 times already :rolleyes: ) I just want this game more than ever while playing through each time I just have the awesome feeling that this game makes a amazing fresh take on first person shooters that was needed. Sorry to the PC gamers this isn't to mock you or anything I'm disappointed for no PC demo since I'll be playing BioShock on my PC but I can assure this game is everything its cracked up to be :D (not like I had any doubts)

How about everyone else who has played? Your impressions?

well its brilliant did you notice how your hands changed the more you used a plasmid such as your hands slowly scabing and burning the more you used incinerate

Nope it didn't happen but the animations while you have your plasmid active are nice but errie

try looking when you have incerate active look at the hand then use it a bit then look at the hand again

Also I thought I would mention that no you cannot see your legs when you look down and the shiny items I never really was bothered by it then again when the game starts it asks to adjust the brightness so that might affect how the shine looks :confused:

I'm going to check back at 4 to see if it's close to being done. I checked at 3 and it was 74% finished. As the hours roll on, hopefully the demo download will go by faster. :/ I'll give my impression then. But from what I've read, it sounds amazing.

Exactly what happened with me I thought the demo would tide me over but now I want it even more and yes the detail they put into this is amazing this for sure is a next gen game :)

If you're stuck in an Underwater City full of drug addicts who have the ability to throw this **** at you, you might be self encouraged to throw it right back don't you think?

amazing, i very happy over the fact that this is the best intro to a game ever, i especially LOVED the "No God or Kings, Only Man" wow...............i cannot picture a mentally sane person who plays this demo and doesn't want to buy this game.

That part did strike me like a wrench to the Cranium. The scale of this game is incontrovertable.

yes but you wouldnt know thats what it did really, you have atlas saying that these drugs destroyed the civilazation so you stick it you arm. They should at least have atlas say "thats a plasmid giive it a try"

Actually you CHOOSE to use the Plasmids. You press A to pick it up which is YOUR action. You can open the door without Electro Bolt if you want when the switch is still operable.

makes sense because you see that these mutated humans are strong, you don't want to die so you alter your body to survive.

Yep, when you enter the room for the very first time the switch on the door isn't damaged, or at least I think it wasn't :confused: It APPEARED to be ok

well it's probly very painful and he was focusing on the pain more so than what he was doing hence why that happened I mean like rearranging your genetic code thats not a small thing :p

I think that the the problem was that it was direcly behind him. He just walked backwards and spun. It seems logical to me. :o

If anyone has ever seen someone so drunk they can't walk up stairs, they know that what happened in the cutscene wasn't a matter of, "Oh, hey look! There's a balcony, I'm going to see what's on the other side!"
