That's an interesting question. It might mean that you in some way influence the Little Sister against you. Also, it could mean that other Big Daddies might attack you on sight. But to be honest I'm not sure, and I'm not sure that that questions been answered in any of the podcasts etc. It would be interesting to know.

its not much fun being a little sis!-poke corpses with a syringe the size of a cricket bat or get clobberd with a wrench!

Actually I would think that if you spare the Little Sister, you could get some sort of reward later on for as Dr. Tenenbaum says "Trust me, trust me".

If you knew exactly what the consequences were, how much of a moral choice would it be?

Well, moral choices are moral because we think about if it's right or wrong. Thinking about it should indicate that we know arguments for or against it. Knowing the consequences just would add another reason for acting. It does not destroy the moral aspect itself.
Btw knowing the consequence in advance just spoils the fun ;)

That's interesting— when I played KOtOR (as a good guy) there were times where the game asked you to part with relatively large sums of money, which kind of made me think aren't I going to need this?. If I'd thought it was going to screw up or restrict my game I would have thought twice about handing over the cash and the decision would, effectively, have been taken out of my hands. I just thought that I'd have faith that it wasn't going to break the game and at worst it'd lead me down an alternate path where it would further test my moral resolve.

Reward: You're suddenly the foster parent of a snotty little kid with weird dietary requirements (but a large supply of Adam).

When I play it's going to be like The Sound of Music ;)
I just wish I could do their laundry.

i read somewhere you could act as the big daddy for a little sister but they added a "bad idea" sentence
so i think if you take her along with you she'll be really handy but at the same time it makes you a big target for adam hunters
