3rd Big Daddy Naming Thread

Because of the recent confusion over the name of the mysterious "3rd" unnamed Big Daddy I decided I might as well open a thread for suggestions and maybe the devs will pick one to use.

What exactly does this chap do with the hook? If he's just using it to bash things, it doesn't really lend itself to something he should be named after.


Whaler (assuming the hook has a 'fishing' function and even the cannon fits this nautical nickname)
Lacy (as in Jeff "left hook" Lacy, plus it'll be confused with the adjective, which'll give him a humorously juxtaposed nickname)
Summoner (for those of you who don't recognize the name, see a similarly-titled Mechwarrior class, whose most notable feature is a shoulder-mounted cannon)

I'm sure they have a name for it/him/her? since Rosie and Bouncer have names, but for the sake of opinion I like "Tanker". "Grappling hook guy" sounds like something you'd say because you didn't know what their real name was.

That would be like calling Rosie "Rivet gun guy", or Bouncer "Drill arm guy".

Just my 2 cents. Maybe they call him "Grappler", which is pretty close.

I'm sure we'll know soon enough.

If that is the BD i will be dispointed it just doesnt have that intimidation factor the other two do. And what would be his specialty they already have ranged and close range i guess it would have to be explosive. Pluss each big Daddy has a secondary effect Rosie can throw grenades and The bouncer can stomp the floor and make you dizzy, so what would (hooker) do

I think Hooker fits because in most of the pictures he has a hook for a hand. I also think maybe he shoots harpoons out of the cannon thing and tries to crank you in with the crank.
