One idea I have brought up ever since the Original Colonization is the trade with the east.

Historically, trade with the East is THE reason why Europeans like Columbus explore westward to the Americas. The search for the Northwestern passage by Luis and Clark, the Acapulco and Manila Galleon, the Boston tea party, and the China Clippers will all be quite silly had it not been for the trade with the East.

Here is my proposal:

- If you head west off the map, you will end up in Canton, China (not plymouth, England, or other Euro home port) or Macau
- Trade is done with hard currency only (i.e. Silver, treasure train) So you have to ship them there past a gautlet of AI privateers (Like Drake ambushing the manila Galleon).
- China sells limited quantities of tea, Chinaware, and spice for silver
- China will also buy limited quanities of merchandise (euro trade good, coat, cigar, rum) with silver.
- You can rent a warehouse in Canton to store your silver and merchandise awaiting trade and transport. (Just as what europeans do in canton historically).
