Bioshock PC Achievements

I know that the PC version of Bioshock doesn't have achievements due to the lack of support for Games for Windows Live. However, I know that I and many others with the PC version don't necessarily care about getting Live points; we'd just like to complete the achievements on the PC version. Has there been any consideration to release an update that allows users with the PC version to have access to the achievements, and if so, would this be coming out anytime soon?

This has been mentioned before and I am all for it. I would like to point out, that the PC achievments most of us PC users want would simply be cosmetic, and Client Side only. No ranking system would be needed etc.

Probably unrealistic to expect this for BioShock. Why not start a thread in the BioShock 2 forum (assuming there isn't already one--please search first)? ;)

Couldn't hurt. And you'd have a lot better chance having something like this implemented on a new game currently in development.
