Installation Trouble

Hi, I've intalled the game and when I double click the icon to play, nothing happens. The mouse turns into an hourglass for a second, but nothing has loaded. Anyone else having this problem?
Running Windows XP.

Hi, I kept the Task Manager up while I try to run the game. colonization.exe appears in the list of processes for a second and then disappears. Hope this helps.
