Imagine having to deal with them everyday like I do, and today they have a wonderful wait time of 40 minutes so far  Too bad for them I'm not one of their usual complacent customers who they screw over with exorbitant fees and rules/regulations they create in order to gouge more money from.

Plus over here they are a crown corporation to boot, which makes they're fake courtesy and inflated ego's even harder to put up with, since there's no sense of vocational responsibility. Biggest bunch of self-important bureaucratic pencil pushers I've ever had the displeasure of working* with.

*usually me repetitiously explaining what info I need to bury them in court whilst they chew gum and surf the internet

dont forget getting them telling you you have to talk to their manager who is Conveniently never there. I dont think you will find a single person who will disagree with you, they are absolutly terrible to deal with.

Insurance Companies: You give them a ****load of money baised on the possibility of something going wrong...

I've never understood why, as a developed and intelligent race of human beings, we still continue to let them get away with this large-scale theft. Worse than that - for motor vehicles at least, it's the Law. As if Governments don't skim enough taxes from your everyday life...

And in my experience, they're always very happy to take your money, but very reluctant to give it back when they need to. There's always some clause or loophole they are quick to exploit. And the excess?! What?! I have to give them even more money, just so I can claim for an accident that was out of my control? What about all the freakin' money I've been giving them up until now?!

Gah! I'm so angry, I can barely even type!

So we're agreed then: Insurance Companies are the essence of all evil in this world.

Agreed.

I went without health insurance at my old job because their rates ended up being higher than my medical bills for the previous year by like twice as much (this is even when I was averaging one ER visit a year too...)

I'm in an area like LowEnergyCycle where auto insurance is mandatory too. At one point they were even mulling over a policy to randomly select people from the DMVs records and basically send you a letter asking for proof of insurance.

The bas...jerks.

here in australia, 3rd party property on your car is compulsory, which in itself is understandable (being the car you crash into is covered, but not you). the monthly payment for me is about AU$25?, which isnt so bad. what really gets me is that since im in the 16-19 range (17), the excess fee I pay if i am responsible for a crash is about AU$700!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WTF i saY!! i cant wait till im over 25, because then it shoots down to $200, which is still a lot, but my monthly fee would go down to ~$15

i definitely agree that in principle insurance companyies are one of the lowliest scum-sucking biaches on the earth.

why they piss me off.

ps. cant wait till bioshock comes out XD
