Didn't see this in this Forum.
Has anyone else seen the latest issue OPM (October).
On Page 15 there is a 1/2 page dedicated to NEW content coming for BIOSHOCK PS3 in the form of stand alone puzzle levels.

"On one level, for example, a Little Sister is stranded atop a stalled Ferris Wheel, and you're tasked with getting her down. Problem is, the obvious solutions won't always work; you won't necessarily have any electro-shock plasmids available to jumpstart the ride, so you'll have to explore the limited area thoroughly and come up with some creative solutions. The number of levels and pricing of this DLC have yet to be determined, but it will include additional Trophies, which is reason enough to check them out later this year"

Hope this also comes to 360 to round up the total gamerscore available to 1,250.

I believe that most of the forum are already aware of this information. And I'm guessing that the simplest way to get the Little Sister down from the ferris wheel is to just shoot her down. She may be invunerable to damage, but not physics.

Ooops! Sorry if that's the case!
Didn't see anything on the pages!
And didn't see anything on the COR webpage either.

i don't like that part about "pricing", I thought the new puzzle levels were going to be included with the game?! Looks like it's moving towards a definite rent only status for me if the challenge rooms aren't part of the cost.

It wouldn't make much sense for the rooms to be paid dlc. Ports generally have extras included already.

Well then lets hope thats the case.

I hope so too!
It makes my purchase a lot easier, if this is already included.

First off don't believe everything you read. The challange rooms will be part of the dlc but they will be free of charge. Also it's been announced that the challange rooms were just an idea they came up with at E3, and went on to say there will be other exclusive content already on the disc (that aren't the new difficulty mode, and the previous 360 dlc). So no worries, be happy!

The forum search tool reveals many, many posts and threads related to "challenge rooms". The news was also officially broken on the Cult of Rapture main page on July 15, 2008 (ignore the "2007" typo):
http://www.2kgames.com/cultofrapture/e32008.html

The news is old enough, however, that it may not appear on the very first page of either the forums or the CoR main page.

You can also see elements of that particular challenge (with the ferris wheel) on various in-game videos that have been shown since E3. A Youtube search should easily turn some up.

Yeah, sorry about that...
Next time I'll search the threads more thoroughly!

I understand. :) It's an excitement thing. You wanted to bring something new to the board.
