This was the best game I have ever played (and I've been a PC gamer since 1980). Thanks 2K, it was just excellent!
I'd gotten in this habit of playing a level or two, taking a bathysphere trip and saving at the start of a new level, ready to play again next night.
I ended one night at the beginning of "Rapture Control Central" (IIRC) and the words "Now, would you kindly kill the son-of-a-*****" were etched in my mind. I couldn't play again for a few nights and was thinking about Ryan. Everything we have seen up to that point paints Ryan as a man gone crazy. Atlas exploding family is the final piece of "evidence" shouting "this guy has gone nuts!".
So curious adventurer me turns into a vengeful fighter me who wants to go kick Ryan's ass!
Then, in one scene everything changes. This huge plot twist was a giant slap in the face, a glass of ice water poured down my spine!
In the short time of that scene, in my head I've gone from curious adventurer to vengeful fighter to complete tool! It sends shivers down my spine to think of that moment.
But, the real criminals here are 2K for manipulating my emotions so much! Thank you, more please :D

Ohhh, very deep thank you letter you got there. Yes, we all felt used and twisted at that very moment, which, like many other scenes in the game, made this the hit game it is today. Glad you enjoyed and I am sure you like all of us will be playing it again very soon!

I actually found the plot twist in the game really predictable.

I love your enthusiasm. :D
You have truly captured the depth of Bioshock. That feeling is SOOO good at SO many levels.

Isn't showing our love and enthusiasm by being a lovely fun bunch of Rapturians and even getting Jack's tattoos a big thank you to 2K too? :D

Well Demitasse, of course I had suspicions that Atlas was not everything he seemed. When I'm starting at a poster that says "Who is Atlas?" and I've recently been asking myself that very question, and then he starts talking about it over the radio, that is highly suspicious.
But it's all pretty vague. Up until the blood on the wall moment, I had no idea how direct and brutal his manipulation was.
BTW darn I just read the forum rules (after the OP - whoops, sorry!). Glad I was being cordial :)
I dont think anyone could know straight off that bit, it's a uturn!

Agreed. Well done on the game 2K. You couldn't of made it any better.

After I learned about that little bit, I wanted to kill everyone. Then turn the self-destruct back on, and blow Rapture across the sea.
