Will Bioshock support the dual shock 3 vibration function in the game or will we have to wait for a update to enable this?

My guess would be support from the get go, but then again I'm assuming it's not too difficult to copy and paste the rumble code from the 360 version. It may be a patch released later if the difference between the two systems is great...
Hopefully we'll see it from the get go tho!

I would assume vibration would be enabled on the DS3.
The real question is how or IF the motion sensor is used.

Hm sixaxis would be interesting in Bioshock.

i'd perfer vibration enabled but no motion. so far there haven't been too many great uses for the sixaxis so bioshock should leave it out instead of adding something that will potentially hurt the experience

I remember discussing SIXAXIS earlier and try as I could, I couldn't come up with a way for them to make it optional (short of shaking off a splicer or something like that) and NOT have to change the story/add content to the main quest. Since we know the main quest is a straight port my only guess (hope really :D) for SIXAXIS integration would be in survivor mode and/or the challenge rooms.
Vibration, though, I hope is there from the get go since I've had DS3 for a while (gotta love friends in Japan!)

I would say it would have the support. But based on some Civ. Rev. comments, if it was not part of the agenda when then made the schedule. It most likely wont be in it, and not even by patching. (mainly not getting trophy/music support)
But I doubt that's the case.

I'm happy to report that Vibration will be fully supported in BioShock PS3 out of the box, no patch required!
SIXAXIS support did not fit into our goal of keeping BioShock as a consistent experience across platforms, so motion controls will not be used.

That's fine by me! Last thing we need is BIOSHOCK to be ruined by LAIR type motion controls.
