Just a note before im flamed: I dont care if bioshock is coming to the ps3, i think its great, But why so late?

I thought 2K was hard working on Bioshock 2. Not this! If 2K was going to make bioshock for ps3, why not the same time as the 360 and PC version was released? They just wasted a whole year porting this to ps3, THEN Ps3 OWNERS GET EXCLUSIVE CONTENT! What? What a cheap way to make the ps3 version sell. Some people might say "360 and Pc owners get it a year eailer so they get exclusive content, so its fair" But not me. So my point here is do i honestly need to spend another $60 bucks to see what the ps3 version has to offer? Or can i just rent this at blockbuster?

Personally in my opinion if you have it for the 360/PC and you also own a PS3 then I would rent it. It's practically the same game, except for the Challenge Rooms and Survivor Mode. Nothing more, nothing less. No new additions except for that.

Oh thanks for clearing that up with me, some dude told me the ps3 version was going to have new perks and plasmids. I was like wtf, but if its just a new difficulty and some challenge rooms then i guess i wont need 2 rent it. Thanks again.

I would get it sinse I have a PC and it doesn't run on high quality. But if you have a 360, rent it to try out the stuff. It's not really worth it.

two things
A). If you have a PS3 you should rent it at least for the trophies, and aditional content even if not much it would still be worth another go around.

B). If you think about it now biochock could win game of the year 3 years in a row, 2007:Bioshock 2008:Bioshock PS3 version 2009:Bioshock 2 and if it is not imediatlly released for the ps3 then posibaly in 2010, what a legacy.

Portal on the PC made a great game based purely on challenge rooms so it's quite possible the PS3 version will offer an excellent additional entertainment experience over & above the other versions! Only time will tell. It's impossible to judge them yet since no one has played them.

What?

1.Bioshock for ps3 is the same game!!!!! Why would people vote for it again?
2.Bioshock 2 is going to release the ps3 version at the same time of all the other versions and it MIGHT win 2009.
3. Bioshock won 2007 its not going to win again, its had its time and its over.:)

Honestly, the "exclusive" stuff will likely come to the PC and 360 in a couple mounths. I don't see 2K making all this new stuff to keep on just one platform.

You forget that the content would not exist if Sony hadn't paid for it. If Sony has paid for it, I expect it to stay exclusive!

wow you really need to calm down. you know why bioshock is coming to the ps3? BECAUSE SOME PEOPLE HAVE A PS3 AND NOT A 360. It's been said multiple times by the bioshock creators that they want as many people as possible to experience a game as great as bioshock. so you have an xbox and already played bioshock? we!!!!! hooray for you!! i don't and i'm sure there's more people on these forums who are excited for bioshock ps3. if you don't want bioshock ps3, quit posting about how you think it's stupid. you're probaby jealous of our DLC anyway

Unfortunately I don't see the Challenge Rooms becoming 360 DLC at all.
Look at Gears of War... EPIC made the Brumak mission available for PC only.
And it never came to the 360. And that wasn't even another console.

Developers are pretty much obligated to add new content into games finally going to another platform; later than the original release; to entice and justify the purchase of new players.
Otherwise the bemoaning of "same old game, different console" wouldn't stop.

Now, EPIC is stating GOW2 isn't even coming to the PC. 360 ONLY.:D
But, you never know...

At this point I doubt the 360 will get any new Bioshock DLC, as much as I would love to have something to round up the GS to the available 1,250.:(

Except the bonus of a dual shock 3 controller and force feedback. I know a lot of pc gamers will not care about this but I have always loved console controls over mouse and keyboard.

Except the new stuff isn't on the 360. Try the ps3 version.

Good thoughts. I'd go with that.

Yes but you need to remember that the real attraction of portal was the story, and i feel that these challenge rooms will simply be a boring extra, feeling disconnected from the game itself.
