Legendary Edition

So I know I'm just further throwing fuel on the collectors edition flames but after hearing that the next Gears of War will have their own Legendary edition with some kind of Lancer replica I thought it would be a cool idea to see what you folks would like if the good people at 2k decided to put out their own legendary version.

Well that would be a standard collectors or limited edition. I'm thinking more in line with the Halo 3 spartan helmet or the Gears of War 2 Lancer replica. A Big Daddy Helmet would be cool but it would have to be like half scale.

There will be a version that includes a real life replica. It will be $129.99 and have a lancer replica that will not be gold.

we did make a very limited number of Rosie helmets for BioShock.

They announced it briefly at SDCC. They didn't release pictures or any other details.

BD helmet would be a nice giveaway prize for the Cult or sumthin.

One was on eBay at one point, but to my dissapointment, the bidding went up to $1250.00+. Luckily I was able to get one of the faceplate sets for $125.00.

I heard they were given out to 2K team members and those deeply involved in BioShock. I heard there were 25 made and the mask lit up with an LED light setup.

they were used as rewards in a gamestop program, and i do believe key members of the team (like 2K Marin's office) have them.

they are kind of like the life-sized big daddy statues, however. few and far between, but totally awesome!

Thanks Liz! We can always hope for a Legendary, of maybe Big Daddy Edition for Bio2. And if we need to start a petition for that I'd be happy to get it going.
