hey this question is mainly for 2K team members because they would know best

Ok www.bioshockgame.com has a big thing on that website saying "Coming to Playstation 3 computer entertainment system October". Also, Wikipedia has the same, October release for ps3, and yes i know wikipedia is not fully trustworthy.

But now, IGN.com, a gaming website which i trust (most of the time) has on their Bioshock PS3 page a release date of November 3rd.

the official bioshock game website it very trustworthy, but the editors at IGN do talk to a lot of the developers making a game.

2K staff! who is right?

As far as I know, 2K has it right on their website, but I don't believe there was a big announcement of a date, which is why IGN put a perspective date on their site. So IGN isn't trying to lie, they just didn't receive notice about the officcial website saying Ocotber.

IGN does that when they don't know anything except the season that a game is coming out. So they must have been told it was this fall, but didn't catch the October thing.

of course if problems occur during development a delay although painful would be better than releasing a product with bugs. People managed to survive the GTA IV delay but hopefully nothing that long would happen with Bioshock. :D

Not as bad as Painkiller: Hell Wars. It was delayed month after consecutive month. A month of delay would be great--Just think of all the features they could add.
