Ken, I want to thank you and the team for being willing to go through several "re-starts" in pursuit of creating something new, visceral, and significant. I have a quick setup question and a deeper follow-up. Are you familiar with Denis Dyack and Silicon Knights? It seems your two companies have some similar goals and philosophies.
What excites me most about gaming these days is innovation. The "choose your own adventure" depth of titles like BioShock and WoW. Exploring intelligent settings outside the standard fare (BioShock and perhaps Assassin's Creed). The Wii controller. The scale versus procedural generation of Spore. If these ideas are successful, what do shovelware publishers do? Do they go after that talent? Change their philosophies to develop their own? Keep doing the same thing on what I hope will fast become an uneven playing field? Thanks for your thoughts!
