Will there be Llamas in BioShock?

...or are the team not aloud to talk about the presence of Llamas in Rapture...?

[What can I say, it's a slow night on the forums ;) ]

Personally I'd like to be able to ride one around Rapture.

I seriously have been hoping there would be some kind of animals other than the fish you see behind the glass. It'd not be too much of a stretch that some domesticated animals like cats would be able to survive on their own down there, and it'd add a bit of life to the place. Are there any kind of more normal animals in Stalker (as opposed to horribly mutated monstrosities)?

I love cats. It'd be great to see one or two around rapture.

Hopefully they'd be able to resist modeling them after Jonesy (Alien) as that's a real cliché (although it might make a good easter egg to have one bolt from some place in an apartment you're exploring). I think if there's a cat just wandering Rapture it should be a black cat.

It's probably a bit much to model, but the addition of an abnormally high rat population would really give the feeling that the city hasn't been, eh, maintained properly for some time.

Seeing the Big Daddies reacting to them would be cool.

maybe the LS would play with the cats ;)

The cats could walk over to them and rub up against their legs. You might be able to predict the temperament of the particular Little Sister (or any other character for that matter) based on how the cat reacts to them.

I think the first time you see the cat it should be licking it's paw and suddenly stop and look at you (as cats do), because you're an unknown quantity. After that it should react to you in accordance with how you treat it, and maybe how it sees you treating the Little Sisters.

Adabiviak, how would rats get into rapture? It's an underwater city.

No this is NOT!! spam im actually serious.

because of the whole of rapture is under-water is it not true that, in this self-sufficient utopian society they would have had a laboratory down there to do experiments before they just started stabbing themselves with needles full of stuff?

so thats what im asking

Aside from the obvious splicers and other baddies, are we going to see mutated animals ect that may have escaped their under-water lab?

Exactly. they were invented in 1983 along with string cheese, and the swiss ball. :pAdabiviak, how would rats get into rapture? It's an underwater city. The same way they get anywhere, they hide in the food shipments.

The game does have some rpg elements to it so the rats would have to be abnormally large and in the beginning of the game.:D

Well, the Cartmen homage is pretty funny but he line is originally from Aliens:
Newt: We'd better get back, 'cause it'll be dark soon, and they mostly come at night... mostly.

That's why I love South Park; they have all those kind of pop culture references.
