As I’ve said before, the Irrational art team should be shoe-in’s for some visual art awards, for their rendering of art-deco architecture plus 50’s style décor and furniture. The sound team should as well, for producing an excellent aural atmosphere in a decadent underwater city.
I like the use of foreshadowing with large posters such as “Eve’s Garden: Come bite the Apple”. I detect a hint of caricatures reminiscent of American McGee’s Alice, notable in the club-wielding bunny hat @ 35 second mark.
This game just keeps getting better and better :D

Awesome. I think that one splicer with the mask looks and moves like The Ant from freedom force. Also, what's happening to the Big Daddy who is smoking and whatnot? Very intriguing. Is there a high-res version? The one I've been watching doesn't show the true beauty of BioShock.

The bunny-mask reminds me of a mask from Ocarina of Time.
I wonder if the clocks are dynamic, or if they're fixed ("It was a dark cold day in rapture, and the clocks were striking sixteen")
Also— that Big Daddy seems to be leaking.

Off the top of my head I can't think of a recent game that has displayed such great environments and sense of atmosphere. Even if there were no enemies (which I'm glad there are) I would be interested in playing the game just to cruise the dark and detailed hallways of rapture.

Agreed. This is my thinking as well. Though I am not sure what all that stuff was spraying out of him... maybe he just really had to go.

Glad the game is not focusing on the action/shooting alone because I love story and atmosphere! And this trailer is showing just that. Awesome! ;)

Yeah this is the sort of ambiance of mis-spent glory that I was hoping for.
So much craftsmanship amongst so much savage destruction. :cool:
Like trolling around the remains of the Titanic crossed with the Hindenburg if it was pressurized with a breathible atmopshere instead of entirely flammable hydrogen.

Ah... sorry you had to spell it out for me. The game looks great my man. I'll be one of those people who finds a way to push the game-play into the hundred plus hour arena for certain.
