DS players

Is there anyone out there? I can't find any gams online. Do people usually just have a certian turn timer speed or.....? Do most people prefer 2,3, or 4 people?

Not to worry, you'll get better soon! ;) I've only just won the second hardest myself.

I dont know if you do this already, but a helpful tip is when possible, never attack an opponents city without naval support.

Which victory do you like?

i usually get the culture one i almost got the one where you have to build the world bank but ended up wining the culture victory isnt that what its called where you win by building the united nations.

i have had mostly the culture vic? (united nations) almost got the one where you build the bank where u have to get over 20000 any way and i also got a few of the domination vic, opps didnt mean to post it twice didnt see the other one

I've mostly had domination, once I was beginning to build a world bank but since the AI attack when you're just about to win I ended up with a domiation again. Hopefully in 8 more turns I will have a tech victory !

cool cool well i havent had the ds for long i also have a ps3 with the c.r. demo but how does the friend codes work for ds?

Oh, I dont have PS3, only Wii. But anyway, basically you enter someones friend code, your friend enters yours, you call each other up, and then you both go on and search for friends on the internet, and then (Ta-Da!) You are now in a friend battle!

oh ok cool lol yeah c.r. is the only online game i got for ds, for ps 3 i got mgs4 warhawk gta4 cod4 and oblivian and that dreadful card game that comes with the eye (of gudgement) and grand turismo.

yeah unfourtunatly alot of those games dont come out for wii. Although COD4 will soon. But, yeah, I think Civ Rev is at least my favorite online game for the DS. Although it probably dains like half the battery on a full game.

That's probably a good idea. Which Civ are you usually? I'm usually Mongols, but I've only had a few games and I'm still trying them out. I had a good game with the Greeks, going from 3 useless cities to a strong empire.

For the DS you cant talk to players online. With and without friend codes. I know that with diplomacy online for versus anyone well i guess you send them a deal theyll accept it or not, but for friend codes im not sure how it works.

so how do they expect you to get or find friends if there is any way to communicate with them thu the game? thats kinda stupid. Anyway what game would u recommend for the ds that is fun, but its also online..?

Well the DS isnt like the Xbox in a sense that you cant communicate with random people with thig like text chatting. However there are some games that will let you use preset phrases.

A game that is for the DS that is fun and online that I'd reccomend would be (Civ Rev obviously) and Mario Kart. Also depending on a person's age I'd say Pokemon Diamond/Pearl is also fun for online.

Also today is the E3 so nintendo will probably reveal some fun games there
