i see people that say moderator or junior member. how do you get a new status?

The higher the post count, the higher your status. Don't worry too much about ranks though, and don't post alot just to obtain a high rank;) .

Edit - If you'd like to become a moderator, you'll have to ask 2k Liz once you've been a member of this forum for longer.
