Ranking System

Is this based on the ELO system used in chess with pts being awarding based on opponents ranking, or set points for each victory?

The ranking system cannot possibly be working as intended at the moment nor can the recording of points for games that become hanged.

I've played 14 games; 2 of which no result was recorded at all, 1 of which a loss was recorded following a hanged game, and 2 of which recorded a win following a hanged game -- leaving a total record of 11-1.

When my record was 10-1, I was recorded as being ranked 4th.

Now when my record is recorded as 11-1, I'm recorded as being ranked 247th.

I imagine at some stage, someone will attend to fixing the problems. In the mean time I guess we just sit tight and enjoy the ride :eek:

what system, what mode, and also, are you sure the time you checked a lot of other people didn't play games and sink you down? i've sunk further because so many people got the game and have played more than me!

System is PS3 and mode 'free-for-all'.

Have a look at the stats, they're quite inexplicable. I went from 4th with 11 recorded games (10-1) to 237th with 12 recorded games (11-1).

I'm confident that at some stage someone will fix up the ranking system. The thing that urked me the most was the loss recorded against my name. I was actually in a good (albeit at an early stage) of the game when the game froze. Then again, I've since had a win counted against my name during a game I was certain to loss -- again because the game froze.

I'm sure these things will be ironed out in the next few weeks :o

Well,

I just had another freeze victory. I was coming a close second to Zouland at the time. He has a right to feel cheated!

I've now got a posted record of 12-1, and have skyrocked back from 237th to 48th. What a rollercoaster :confused: .
