First I want to introduce myself, I'm Frank Fountain. I love Bioshock and can't wait to play it on the PS3. Okay almost every website I go they talk about this so called "zoo level" that was cut back due to time constraints to be included in the PS3 version. I know it's all a rumor and I'm aware to take this rumor as a grain of salt. But say this rumor is true does this mean it'll me a full world like say Fort Frolic? Or will it just be an area included onto a pre-existing world. Why I'm concerned is because I believe I heard that the updates on the PS3 will not change the story in any way. But if you have a new level then I'd think it require audio diaries and an acutal reason for being there, so slightly it end up changing the plot (of course in a minor way). So that's why I'm curious because if it's a full world (or aka level) then I'm sure the XB360 fans will feel very left out. But if it's just a tacked on area then really it's nothing for them to whine about. Of course this is all a rumor and none of this may come out to pass, and I've may of just wasted 5 minutes posting this but still. Do you guys have any idea???....//:D

Sounds pretty awesome tho. I'd love to see that. I wouldn't think they would put that into the PS3 version, maybe in the sequel. The idea opens up all sorts of cool thoughts. If an animal chows down on some spliced up human will it gain any of their abilities or will it change their genetic make up? Plasmids are injected through the blood so it would seem to be that they could be like a blood born infection. A zoo with just a bunch of dead animals due to lack of care would be just depressing. But if there were a few dead and a few ripped open cages with various blood trails, claw marks, bones, and then some spliced up bear jumped out...

Well apparentley it was supposed to be included in the orginal Bioshock but again they just didn't have enough time to polish it. So I don't see why it can't be included to the PS3 version.
Honestley to me the zoo level sounds like a tacked on area in Arcadia like the Farmers Market......I'd love to see that place and really I think that factor is whats going to make my decision as to wether rent/or buy the game....
......But ya know what'd be cool? A spliced up Bear vs Big Daddy, or an Elephant vs. A Big Daddy. Heh that'd be sweet!.......//

Just for now, assume anything that you didn't hear from 2K is false. So unless they said or released it, it should be considered false.
That said, I would not think so. Larger content is rather unusual in later ports. But do expect improvements.
Wait until E3 this Moday and you will probably hear some more information from 2K.

Again like I said in the begining of my post I'm taking this rumor with a grain of salt.
Well this is a statment from GameTrailers' Geoff Keighly "Another game set to debut on the show is BioShock PLAYSTATION 3. Now I know what you're thinking? Why are you guys making a big deal out of a port? Well I can't spoil the surprise just yet, but let me tell you there is way more to this game than you might think. There have been hints about some exclusive features in the game and on Monday night I'll finally reveal the details on Spike, and of course show you the first real gameplay footage from the PS3 version. Believe me, this is going to get people talking!"
That has to give some hope for more exclusives.....//

Yeah, just read that earlier. Sounds like something big. I prolly will get my PS3 before BioShock's release though.
