lets say im going for a domination victory and all my eggs are in one basket...if another player builds the great wall is that game over as far as my domination victory goes?
the only thing that i can see getting around that would be if they declared war on me?
thats a tough nut to crack..lol

Hmmm, depending on where he built it you could try to culture flip it maybe?

I know it becomes obsolete when something is built, but I forget what it is...

Researching Engineering obsoletes it. So thats probably the best bet.

you can research engineering pretty early in the game so just try and knock out the other civs until you research engineering. i usually never build teh great wall because of how fast it seems to become obsolete.

unless you don't allow other civs to have alot of tech like beating them at it. like how about building wanders first. try that.
