If this has been mentioned before, then I do apologise.

While doing random browsing on the Internet, I came across this webpage:

http://www.magictheatre.org/season0708/expedition_bios.htm

If you scroll down to the entry that says Karl Hanover, you'll read this:

is a graduate of the National Theatre Conservatory in Denver. Although this is his first production with the Magic Theatre, he has worked with several other Bay Area companies including CalShakes, Berkeley Rep, Upon These Boards, TheatreWorks, and the San Francisco Shakespeare Festival. Regionally he has been seen at the Philadelphia Shakespeare Festival, Kennedy Center, New York Stage and Film Festival, and with the Denver Center Theatre Company, and most recently he performed the voices of Atlas and Fontaine for the upcoming computer game “BioShock”.

I was under the impression that it was 2 voice actors doing the work since a lot of people have written that Greg Baldwin voiced Fontaine and somebody else voiced Atlas.

If this website is true, then maybe Greg Baldwin actually voiced Suchong? He's very good at oriental accents as he voiced Iroh in Avatar the Last Airbender. Can anyone confirm that this website is true?

If it is, then it's quite funny as it's an Irishman pretending to be an American pretending to be an Irishman. (Yes, I know, random thought.)

That's odd...I haven't seen his name mentioned anywhere in the list of voice actors for the game. Though it's a little strange they'd just make something like that up.

Edit: Ah, Wikipedia's Bioshock article also states it was him. It says Karl Hanover was Atlas, and Frank Fontaine was Greg Baldwin..

The thing is though, the article says that Karl Hanover did both Atlas and Fontaine, which is not what wiki says.

Also, some voice actors go under different names under credits due to Actor Equity rules (eg, I don't think Kristen Bell was listed in the credits of Assassin's Creed at the end of the game, depsite common knowledge that she was voicing Lucy.)

That is true. Hmm...

If one person did both Atlas and Fontaine, I'd be thoroughly impressed. O_o;;

And Wikipedia isn't always right, any knucklehead can go and edit anything they want and hell knows what happens after that. ..I came to really distrust that site and rarely go on anymore. :/

I've seen the list of actors on IMDb and it doesn't mention him either. Hmm...very interesting. I'm curious now. :p

I find the site to be very reliable most of the time; yes, anyone can edit it, but within five minutes of a false edit someone else will come along and correct/delete that. The site is well maintained, and usually gives accurate information in my experience.

Well, I checked the wikipedia "Talk" page for Bioshock. Apparently the page was edited by someone who worked with Karl Hanover and says that he had to go under a different name in the credits due to Actor Union rules.
