View Full Version : BIOSHOCK Collectors Edition
Hello, I'm new here.
I recently bought the BIOSHOCK Collectors edition with the Big Daddy Figure from Amazon.de (German website) as they were the only website who had them for a reasonable price, and new. I know that Germany use the PAL format as the UK does (that is where I am from) though now I am wondering if it was such a good idea....
Does anyone here know whether the game will play in German? Whether the manual and box description be in German instead of English and etc?...

OK. Thanks for the info. ANother question, if the Big Daddy figure happens to be broken, would 2K still replace it? I know it's been way over half a year since BIOSHOCK was released so I'm not sure if they still replace...

Im guessing not but... I am not the best source on that one talk to a modderator they can talk to the person in charg of the forums and get actual information on that one

I don't know about that, but you can ask 2K Elizabeth. She's the Administrator and she can answer your question.
About the actual game, if it's all labeled in German, then yes, I'm 99% it's in German. But not entirely sure. I think that on the PC version you can change the language, but not on the 360 version.

It's the 360, and actually I tried on my regular copy of the game and if you change the country on the 360 dashboard, the menus AND voice acting switch to German, so as long as the game is in the same region (PAL for me) the game will play fine. It's just the box and manual I'm worried about now as I sold my regular copy to a friend.

On the 360 Dashboard, scroll onto the System panel (the one on the far right), go into Console Settings and it's the 4th one down on the list.
