When CIV4: Colonization is released, might the original be released like Railroad Tycoon was for Railroads!? This is wishful thinking, plus I've never played it. but it is a Games for Windows only title.

Well if they were to release it i would imagine it would require some work from their side to actually make it compatible with newer versions of windows, work which might be better directed at Colonization or any secret civ projects in the future.

Yeah but wouldn't that seem a bit lame ? I mean if they are going to pack one of their games along, the least they could do was make it work in windows, don't you think ?

The point was if they are going to put an additional game on their disc, one would imagine they would ensure it playable instead of having the player doing the work (not that i would mind, i'm thinking of others, perhaps less techincally savy players possibly even)

I'd like to see the original ported to mobile platforms (psp, ds, maybe windows mobile) . . . the original requirements (386 processor, 4 MB RAM, 7MB disc space) could easily be handled by many of today's portables.
