Set Eras.
is there a way for me to have a set era? so I can start with medieval and can get up to idustria but not modern? or start as Modern at the start?
Disable tutorials?

there should be, again im not sure as i dont have the full game yet, the demo at the very beginning allows you to say i already know how to play...
If you mean turn off the ADVICE that comes up from time to time, i dont think you can.

Economic - 20,000 gold build world bank
Domination - capture all other civs capitol cities
Technology - research techs to build, launch, and land a space craft on alpha centerai (Spelling???)
Culture - 20 great people, wonders, converted cities and build something...
..........

You have to start Ancient, and work your way through.
In terms of tutorials, if ou go for highter difficulties, the Tutorials go away.
