A few days ago I was talking about how I got my Xbox 360 almost when they came out, and it had never acted up on me.

Yesterday... I get the three red rings of death. :o

I just got off the phone to Xbox customer service. Probably around tommorrow I will be mailing my Xbox in to be repaired.

It figures... I had just decided to go for Brass Balls and Seriously Good At This at the same time. :p

Oh well... at least I have PC games to amuse me while I wait...

Don't expect for your Xbox back by the time they say.They told me I'd have it in 2-3 weeks,got it back 3 months later...

Wow that's is way too long.. It took mine 2 weeks from the time it left my house the first time.. and 3 weeks the last time..

New Update!

Yesterday I called customer support... I got my Xbox registered and such... but they could not make a repair order for me because "Their systems were being upgraded." So I was told to call back tommorrow.

I just got off the phone right now. They said they were "Still upgradeing their systems and were not able to process your repair order."

So they told me to call back in 48 hours.

If you were keeping track, they told me to call back in a day the first time. I call back in a day then they tell me to call back in two days.

And what kind of "system upgrade" takes three days? If it will... I am guessing in two days they will tell me to call back in four.

But you cant really argue with customer service reps... especially when your Xbox has turned into a $400 paperweight.

This is exactly what happened to me. Now I have made 3 big enemies.Microsoft,EB games,and Purolator.(All three of them is whose fault it is that it took so long.) You want to know how to get it back ASAP?Talk to the vice-president of Microsoft.That's right;That is one of the only ways to get it back without waiting a huge amount of time. That is what I had to do to get mine back anyways.

No. Get a PC. If something goes wrong you just fix it yourself. And if you don't know how all you have to do is call your tech savvy friend/co-worker/cousin and voila! No sending nothing to no one.

This and having to pay additional fees to microsoft for use of xbox live are the two reasons why i will never buy an xbox 360.

I'm quite happy with my PC.

New Update!

I called the customer service clowns a couple days ago, got my repair order proccessed, and just today an empty box arrived in the mail for me.

I put my box in the box, and just handed it to the UPS guy not 10 minutes ago.

Now it is out of my hands... I am counting on you, Microsoft people... please dont screw me over...

It just came in the mail! Huzzah!

They sent me a brand shiney new Xbox!

Too bad I have to get going somewhere right now. *sighs* Oh well.

Later tonight, its go time to the city of Rapture hehe...

Well good for you! Of course, you didn't have it near as bad as I do. I have satellite internet! Xbox Live = Lagg. Online PC Games = Lagg. Just imagine it! You got it good!

They told me 4-6 weeks and I got it in 10 days. Lately they have been pretty quick. My friends have had fairly quick expierences too. So not always slow.

That is tons more expensive. Updrades and repairmen are expensive. PC's are just too much for my tastes. I think I will stick to 360 and PS3 for all my gaming/Blu-Ray needs.
