Hey guys, im just wondering which is a civs best type of victory (In other words, which would they win easiest).

Any info on it would be helpful, because im trying to win a different victory on each difficulty, at the moment I'm stuck with Domination on Warlord.

P.s I don't want to be French beacause I was them on Cheiftan. :D

Greeks are great for tech victory
Germans are good for domination victory

Thanks for that. I never knew Greeks were good for tech, they always crossed my mind as a cultured civ.

Germans I always knew about though, but thanks again.

Yeah, diplomacy, 1/2 price library, +1 food for sea squares.

I should also add Chinese are good for tech victory too

Greeks are for "tech domination". As Judge said they are very good because at the beginning they have:

+50% research (no declaration war)

(industrial era): 1/2 library

justice palace (20 instead of 8) = more prod./res./food

And i prefer arabians then German. I have always won using Arabians vs Germans; think about that:

warrior army = 6-3
warrior army german: 4,5-4,5

but you need only to attack barbarians (i always do that) to have veterans warriors, so you will have:

warrior army = 9-4,5
warrior army german = 4,5-4,5

So you could always win

For example this morning using arabians vs germans i attacked zulu and i got his capital, so i had got a lot of archers (not armies) and i staied on my cities to defence while i was going to research more. I had 5 cities when i started to build tanks while he had only archers or legions, so i won in only some turns.

Rome: culture
Egypt: Mixed bag. Free wonder is good for culture. I'm not sure what to make of the other bonusses. Not a big fan of those.
Greece: tech
Spain: economic
Germany: domination
Russia: Mixed bag. Strong focus on playing defensively (loyalty + cheap riflemen)
China: Tech
USA: Economic / Domination. Basicly outproduce your oponents.
Japan: Mixed bag. Ceremonial burial for culture, samurai for domination, loyalty bonus for playing defensively.
France: Mixed bag. Cathedral for culture. Uber-cannons + fast riflemen for domination.
Arabia: Economic / domination (fundamentalism + stronger knights)
Aztecs: Economic / domination (the heal bonus is awesome)
Zulu: Economic. Or domination if you plan on warrior rushing.
Mongolia: Domination
England: Mixed bag. Domination if you plan on using ships a lot, free monarchy for culture, longbows for playing a defensive game early on.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

I don't have the full game yet, but I think it's safe to say that the Aztecs will also be great for playing an early defensive game (auto-heal = no wearing down defending Aztec armies with multiple attacks).

It also needs to be said that Rome is the civ of choice for any "mega-city" strategies, which are basically unstoppable against low-level AI and new players, and which may be similarly powerful against even stronger AIs/players if done perfectly (not enough people have had the full game for long enough to be sure one way or the other yet).

well any civ can do any victory, but when i was greek today i found it real easy to get a cultural victory, wasn't far off the others but that was what i came to first.
