I started playing Pokémon Ruby again, since I have nothing better to do, and I noticed something in the first gym...

Maybe I am a dunce...but I think that "would you kindly" is a common phrase. I say it all the time...

I think it depends on the region, since that's one of the few times I've heard the phrase outside of Bioshock.

I guess it's not that common of a phrase. But I am used to hearing it. The phrase is probably used more than you realize, just you never paid attention before. You'll probably start noticing it lots of places now.

It's a European term, used commonly. And it's a little weird that the same human being who plays BioShock would be playing Pokemon.
