View Full Version : Long wait times on H2H ranked?

Anyone else having to wait long periods of time to match up with another player? So far I have only managed to play one other person. Not sure if it is due to not many people playing H2H or because its trying to match me to other people in Australia (In which case I'll be here forever), I wouldn't think a 50 ms latency would be needed for a game like this. The person I played is also having the same problems.
If it's a population/time zone issue then that is fine, I just hope it isn't a match making problem.
What is your general wait time to hook up with another player in H2H rated?

I think the MM is bug, sometimes it just wouldn't look for game and force me into creating game instantly.
What I did is press custom match,head to head. If the "evaluating game" came up first, quit to menu & wait for awhile before searching again. Do this until you get "looking for game" as the first message.

I am having the same problem - sometimes the 'looking for games' does not even come up it goes straight to 'evaluating games' which is usually when I back out and try again... Even still I wait up to 30 mins or more and just give up finding any type of ranked match. (I'm in Aus, play at 9pm onwards).
I've managed to have 6 or 7 online games so I don't think I have a connection issue, but could it be a matchup issue within the game, or just a lack of people online?
Anyways I've added my gamertag PUNKERGC to the list in the hope I'll get a few people add me, I'm probably mid level skill, can win on Diety (just) and ranked around 30 in HtoH.

Thanks! Can only wait and hope, it's a major issue not being able to play multi... Other games like COD3 had similar issues at launch and were fixed at least to some degree by a patch so let's hope it's sooner rather than later.
