This was the best place I could find to ask this. I don't expect much but...
I think the game needs a patch because the stats in exhibition mode are not just off but completely illogical. It looks like all the stats are assigned to the wrong fighters. I don't have it turned on right now so the examples aren't 100 percent accurate but still...
For instance, Edison Miranda has next to no strength but great agility/dexterity/stamina. Edison Miranda is probably the biggest puncher in the sport. These stats seem far more in line with Joe Calzaghe, who has very mediocre stats that include very low stamina. This can't be right either. Edison Mirandas stats seem to be given to Kelly Pavlik who has huge strength and then low agility/dexterity and okay stamina. Fairly accurate to Pavlik except his strength would be a little bit lower and his stamina much higher. Never did look to see who possibly had his stats, etc.
It isn't just a coincidence, though. At heavyweight Andrew Golota has the most power while having everything else low. This is in line with Samuel Peter, who has average strength and great agility. Completely opposite of Samuel Peter in real life. Those stats look like they actually belong to Sergei Lyakhovich. I am sure if you looked hard enough to could identify every fighters stats to another fighter in their weight class.
I liked the game despite popular opinion but these stats have ruined the game for me. I just can't find it in me to be motivated to play a game where every character in the game is not just off but WRONG. I'm hoping a patch might come out at some time to solve this because I'd love this game if I could have a Joe Calzaghe/Edison Miranda fight without having to pick Miranda as Calzaghe and Pavlik as Miranda, you know? Anybody know if it might come?
