The man who created the Xbox has left Microsoft for a career at EA sports.
Great...

Actually MS hired him in 2003, therefore impossible for him to create the xbox.
Sad news for us 360 owners, but at least I have more confidence in EA sports games now.

Yeah, I figured that.
LIke I said, I'm a bit dissapointed in this, (who will tattoo themselves now and play guitar!?), but hey, EA has him now, and I hope he's used well.

Pretty sad really, that guy was such a character, really down to earth
Best person for microsoft really, the other guys at that conference came across as smarmy, yuppie sleaze merchants, where as peter had so much passion and despite being clearly, "as old as the hills" so youthful in his approach.
Anyway heres his farewell speech with that other sleaze dinosaur, major nelson

Well, that sucks. At least he did it for his family.
Have you seen the interviews he did for Kotaku? Damn, he's one of the most down-to-Earth execs, I've ever seen.

true ill kind of miss him, he was a decent figurehead for MS gaming.
he had a good sense of humour, my only dissapointment was that he didnt come on stage at the E3 conference with some "giant enemy crab guards"

I kind of like that he is moving on to EA Sports just because he said that he wasn't really happy with Microsoft he likes sports alot so now he can work on Sports Games alot and he will be happy now.

And him working on EA sports games makes me and my wallet happy. :p
Seriously, I know this Madden will be good, as they are adding things to it, but with him, it should get somewhat better.

As long as it makes him happy, that's cool. But personally, I'm not into sports games. Sure, every now and again when there is a big group of friends to play with, but just not my type of gaming.

Good guy, followed his career since the dreamcast days. Hope he'll be happy at EA and hope that this guy coming from EA is as good as Moore.

He also gets 1.5 million just to sign up and 330.000 to buy a new house at the location.
