aren't animated anymore.
I couldn't find any other topic about this issue.
Is there any solution yet?
Thanks :)

I have spoken with SECUROM support and after some troubleshooting they have confirmed this as a SECUROM bug.
"Hello.
Thank you for the information about the issue. We were able to reproduce the issue in our QA department and we will try to fix it for future versions of SecuROM
Best regards,
SecuROM Support Team
SecuROM on the web: http://www.securom.com
or via e-mail: support@securom.com"
SECUROM is apparently having a negative effect on the graphics subsystem of Vista systems. I have seen this in other games that utilize SECUROM as well. SECUROM support states that you will need a fix for each game that uses SECUROM once SECUROM resolves the issue.
Nice eh?

Oh dear God.. Don't play Bioshock with Vista. Despite all the raving being done in the game mags, you will have nothing but trouble with it, and the one you're having now will only be the start of it. Now, if you have a half million dollar computer, MAYBE it'll work right, but don't count on it. And Sender, you got a hell of a lot more help than I did on it. Thank the Gods for members of this forium. But I STILL threw away my Vista after the 20th crash..

It works very smooth with vista, instead - atleast on my PC.
I couldn't find any other problem than the freezing cursors.

I have had no trouble with Vista (on three different machines) once I got around the very poor nVidia driver support (especially the SATA controller). Vista runs rock solid for me and I do development for a living so crashing programs is second nature. I run x64 with no problems at all.

I was wondering about this minor annoyance myself, too. Thanks so much for the info.
All I can say is, did they fully test their software under Vista?
