That is awesome! So i dont get it, are you like an official part of Bioshock? Or is this just a fan site? If you are just a fan, I dont get how you are able to make such quality videos :eek: ! Really impressive. I did video work for a while, and know how hard it can be. Those trailers are sweet...

So give me the rundown though, what is Ryans Rapture all about. I went to the site... mainly just seemed to be a forum.

Wow! That's the best compliment, we've ever received! :)
No, we aren't part of the real Bioshock.. and its an honor to be mistaken as such! ^_^ What it comes down to is that we're are a very determined bunch!... we really to stride for an amazing quality series that's worthy of 2K Games.

In a nutshell, Ryan's Rapture is the story of Rapture from the beginning and following its history until its downfall. We're taking the Bioshock characters to the next level and showing how they got as they did. :)

That is awesome! So i dont get it, are you like an official part of Bioshock? Or is this just a fan site? If you are just a fan, I dont get how you are able to make such quality videos :eek: ! Really impressive. I did video work for a while, and know how hard it can be. Those trailers are sweet...

Thanks! :) Unfortunately, we have at least another month's work ahead of us. We're still recording with our voice cast and doing solo animation at the same time. We're aiming for mid-June... which I'm sorry its taking so long.. but as you can see from the trailers, if its not perfect, we aren't releasing it! :)

this one looks great!!! :D . I can't wait until the first episodes come out, is there an exact date yet for the first ones release?

wait...that wasn't actually Suchong?!?!?!? I thought it actually was. If that was an actor for the series then i am really impressed!!! :D. I was thinking that i don't remember Suchong saying this, but he probably did somewhere along the line sometime in the game.

haha.. nope.. that wasen't the real Suchong. That was our voice actor! :) Not bad, eh? :D

:D , i thought it was amazing!!! I had no clue that it wasn't the real Suchong. If he sounds that good, i can't wait to see what Andrew Ryan sounds like :D .

Thats awesome, this truly shows the power of bioshocks fanbase. But you do know they made the BD's to protect LS's, which were made to recycle adam :confused: I don't want any bioshock story flaws in these, it would ruin them.

Don't worry ;) We did ALOT of research before started! You wont be let down!
Anything you might gather from the trailer is purely theatrical. :)

BTW, did anyone else hear Shander's "The wild bunny" at the end? I heard "I want to take the ears off, but I can't! ITS MY CURSE! ITS MY CURSE!" or something like that.
Oh and the voice talent is AWESOME

lol you'll have to wait a bit :) Fontaine probably isnt going to be introduced for a little bit... and Atlas... well, you know about him :) lol

lol, for Fontaine, i guess he sort of has a new york accent or something. Like in the end, when you drain his last bar of ADAM it goes into that cutscene. When he says "tattooed inside ya head" he kinda sounds like a new yorker a bit, thats also like one of my fav. parts in the game :D

we put out a short teaser a long time ago before we had gone into production to see what the reaction would be... people responded well so we decided to go ahead with the project :)

I mean the videos and voice acting quality, is professional, and not something that I have ever seen a fansite capable of doing. So I really hope that get in contact with you at some point, and get you guys involved in the new game. Maybe by doing something like the "I Love Bees" thing that Bungie did for Halo.

So how do you guys make your videos? I mean you have to have some REALLY talented people. An animator, a 3d modeler, an audio engineer, and some voice actors. However you are doing it, keep it up. Just from being in that professional arena I know that big things are gonna happen for you guys. So good work!!!:D

Cant wait to see the next video...

So can you give us a little rundown of what you guys plan to do with the site? Like, what should we expect with the videos? Are there gonna be long episodes or just short little trailers?

HEY! Thanks! :D

We're hoping 2K has taken notice of us too... in a positive way, of course. lol
We are really just huge fans of them, Bioshock, and Ken Levine and we would never want to do anything that would make them angry with us. I'm hoping they enjoy what we're trying to do in "Ryan's Rapture" as much as we are enjoying making it. :)

Oddly enough, we have a very small staff working on this.. so much that I use the term "staff" lightly.. it really comes down to four of us giving up our evenings and weekends to work on the project. We have some VERY talented people working with us and we are so excited to reveal what we have been working on! :)

As to what to expect, we will be released full episodes starting in a few weeks (hopefully) that will run about 12 minutes long. We are also working on a creating a website that will link to the our forum site.

Thanks again for your nice words! It's enthusiasm like yours that keeps us going! :)
