What would your favorite victory be

I would like to know what is your favorite playing style for example what type of victory would you most likely win by. Or what type of victory do you think you would most likely be aiming for in civ rev. For me it would be a Domination victory most of the time.

I voted culture. I kinda like being "cooler" than the other Civs.:cool: Kicking their butt is fun as well.

i have high hopes that they will rework the system so that cultural/space race are both viable options, as in single player i am a culture *****.

I'm going Techky. Lets face it once a Civ can get off a planet with rival Civs and colonize their own world, its just cool to have your own homeworld. All though kicking butt militarily is a close second.

me too the old days when i was zulu nation in civ3 i began kicking in the ass of the american then i sailed to the france and germany with my tanks crushed there hearts... Sweet times

i really enjoy cultural victories. on the emperor difficulty, domination is still a challenge for me. deity i haven't found a way to beat the AI with brawn. :D

There's something really cool about 'flipping' neighbouring cities, and stealing their resources. It's one of Civ's best features, imo. And a true war of attrition in its purest form!

I have to say that Cultural/Influence Victories are my favourite kind in TBS games. I agree, there's something so great about being able to passively conquer your enemy without needing violence to win them over.

I like diplomatc victories the best.

I voted tech, just because I always wanted to be an astronaut, & I love learning about the universe.

But in order I'd like

1. Space Race
2. Military Domination
3. Cultural Influence
4. Monopolizing the Coin

For me it is:

1- Culture. The true end of the history: everyone thinks the same as I do. Everyone is just in awe of how much awesome my civ is and everyone pretty much agrees that the way my civ thinks is the right way, so any further war or conflict would be pointless.

2- Financial. I am extremely curious about this one, since this is one very realistic way to make every other civilization your lapdog.

3- Space race. I am a builder and I love sci fi, but I dunno, in the previous 2 civs it simply didn´t click with me. I did not feel any preassure putted on me nor there wasn´t a devastating final conflict of every civilization against me.

4- Domination. It cames to a point where manage two bajillion of units per turn is not fun anymore, not to mention that it is almost impossible to archieve this victory in some situations (say, you start on an Island or without certain resources).

I voted domination, but i wonder if there is time enough left in the game to reach world domination. Because I always reached world domination by being the biggest in everything, culture, tech and economical.

Hmm I have somehow missed the thread. I voted for Technology victory. Basically its just cool to notice how much more evolved your nation is. Its actually very rewarding to see those "you were first, heres a bonus" messages. Also you have a good start to go for some other victory with lots of technologies.

i decided Tecnology, Be the first one to get Nukke's (which i no is domination), but also be the first to get those space cities!!! he he :)

For me it is a close tie between Tech and Conquest.

But then again, I assume they made the game for them all to be fun! :)

I find that I really like the cultural victory requirements now much better than I did in Civ4.

Civ4 was just a long grind to the end, and CivRev feels fun and enjoyable the entire time.

I'm a Cultural/Manipulate other Civs guy. I will say this till the end of time. I LOVE the spy. Its the only unit I will ever need.

I'd love to get a cultural victory but at least in CIV IV everyone would get too angry at me before I could and then I'd end up militarily wasting everyone.
