It would be cool to have some snow in the game, but I don't think it will happen! It's possible to have snow in a game, we've seen it before, but after all it's up to 2K Czech if they want to implement such feature in their game or not.

It would be lovely to see some seasonal changes in the game, the snow one would be of particular interest since it would make cars a little bit more difficult to handle as would wet tarmac with rain.

Hehe not really, as I don`t expect there to be different seasons, as far as I can tell the screens seems pretty much the same in that respect.
But driving is such a big part of the game (I assume) so it would be a natural issue to address if it happened to be the case there would be various seasons.

Yeah I do also think that driving is a big part of the game, and I also think that there will be different seasons, perhaps in the different chapters...?

Imagine beeing four seasons in Mafia. Spring with all nature bursting into life, summer with hot sun, autummn when leaves from the tress fall on the ground, and then winter with the Christmass spirit going on to the city streets...if something like this is implemented into Mafia 2 it would be so realistic and exciting. Of course this requires a very long story, with lot's of missions...because in order to feel the four seasons you must play alot and feel like the years are passing by...

Realistic seasons would require a different clothes for people on the streets. We haven't seen anything like that., but I guess they only ave us summer screens so far.

I'm really sure that it's not so difficult to change people's clothes, because missions "take place" in a different periond of time (you know some missions in 1947 and then some in 1948) and that means change of entire city during the game, choose right cars to the right era
(you could see that in first Mafia too, during the gameplay there were still new and more luxerious cars adding in the game).

I'm now wondered how will the snow in Mafia II look like. I think the snow is also part of gangster movie/game - snow was also part of some scenes of The Godfather movie. If it will be melting first time and then there will be masses of snow next to roads, a snowman in front of some building, drivers paying attentions for a wet carriage-way.

I think the first mission, Vito's return to home, is taking place in Empire City covered by snow.
I'm now wondering how the snow will look like, if you will be able to make deep footprints or it will just show some darker texture of snow. I can't also wait for car's behavior in the snow.

I hope. That might take developers longer though, and if I could choose between the seasons with a longer waiting for the release or one or two seasons with a sooner release, I would take the quicker release.;)
