I hope the only strong weapon we get will be Grenades and Molotovs. Of course, you've seen the MG42 in certain screenshots. It's a very strong weapon, but keep in mind it takes long enough to deploy it and it requires people that know something about it to shoot it.

They only said that such weapons don't fit in Mafia, as it's not a GTA, and that in '40's -50's they weren't available.

We've heard about a mission where you got to stop and kidnap an armoured car, so maybe there we will have to set an ambush with MG42.

But guys, yes it is not gta, but mafia free ride extreme party with grenades and tompson is better then gta and granede launcher was in world war two. How american soldiers fight with german tanks?:) If mafia has german mashingun, why the cant have american or german panzerfaust or bazuka?

Well, if there was only 1 mission available for it, I could eventually agree....in Mafia I I think such mission was when you had to kill a politician with a sniper rifle. It never appeared again until Free Ride mode.

No, a bazooka is going to far away from the orginal Mafia game. GTA IV okay, COD okay, Battlefield okay but Mafia not. Just guns with bullets, MG42 is cool and is more than enough for heavy weapons in Mafia 2. What is next? A flame thrower or perhaps mortar?

Instead bazooka they should use car bombs.

Remember, it's not a world war. It's the mafia world with mobs.

c'mon russians, just imagine the scene:
The quiet street in NY. Suddenly, a gangster lands with a parachute, grabs bazooka from his backpocket and blows up all the cars in the street, nearby cafe and five planes from the air. Then he takes minigun from the street and kills all the people on the street. After that he stops a car (that appeared from smwhere), pulls a driver outta it and drives away to get a new mission.

That doesn't remind me GTA at all, what about you, dudes? russians?
