to new four screens shown above (now I'm focused in the third-one where is Vito shoting on a car with open trunk):

It looks great. I love them all. There's so many detailes to find, but I'm afraid there will be no dynamic reflections (or there is no one yet)

When I was looking at this picture I tried to find some reflection of Vito and Joe on the car. And I haven't found it there yet. I haven't found there any reflections of other cars in the street.
Do you think there will be also dinamic reflections or only the static-ones.
I was also looking at others pictures with cars and I did find nothing.

BTW, regarding the 1st picture from the 1st post of this thread:

That 2-tone colour car from the right of the screen is turning right, so I'm thinking that the driver is trying to avoid a collision with the black limo!!!! I mean drivers now try to avoid collisions with the player/AI if they see the player/AI coming their way?!?!?! If I'm not wrong the driver is also looking at the limo and maybe is trying to anticipate the limo moves. If I'm right, then that would be great and realistic too! What do U think?

I don't think anyone can give an answer on another question above. "Is the screenshot where Vito is running through some kind of park a mission in which you have to run from A to B?" I don't think so, he may just be running from someone or something, I don't think you'll ever know as well.

The screen with Vito shooting at the black car is very good.

Not only the posture Vito has but the lovely black colors on the cars and the beige one as well.
It looks great, many times when you look at a nice object even if it is just on a screenshot you can get the feeling the object is kind of "pasted" into the picture.
In this case however you feel they are all a part of the gamingworld.

About reflections on vehicules, currently, it is static ones, but maybe in the final version it will be dynamic.

Anyway I don't care, see Mafia 1, the reflections looks good but they are static...
And for Mafia II it'll be the same, anyway we don't care about dynamic reflections, it costs in performance, so if you don't want a laggy-Mafia II just forget that stuff which is just a detail, because all the scenes are great (sun reflectoin, bloom effect, level of detail, shadows (awesome) etc...)

Looks like we found front of the '49 Mercury which was visible on couple of other screens...The red car on 1st screen has two-tone painting, when you save the pic and brighten it in some program, it is visible that it has white colour on lower fender, so it's the same car which we've seen always from the back...this front appears to be free (= not 100% accurate) interpretation of '48-'49 Oldsmobile's grille

If you look at the man near exploded barrels you'll be able to see he's got shot. There is a very nice processed splashing blood in the game and I love holes in man's coat too. It looks like in a real gangster movie.
To spot it you have to see this screen in it's original size.

With every new screenshot, the dev guys just keep giving us shocks. They are not leaving a single detail out. Just look how properly the depth of the bricks and cement between them represents a true 3d wall. Just awesome.

BTW, the way the target guy is standing, it looks like one of those "Shooting practice" places :)

I've brightened the screen beyond distortion, but at least we see everything now.
And these look to be more typical fabric pants rather than jeans, that Vito wears.

Vito has the same jacked in haven and in the situation when he's escaping police. Vito's jacked is creased. Do you think this crease will be generated by game engine (by Vito's position) or just predefined.
If you look at one of first screens you can see Vito's forearm sleeve is deeping in it's shoulder part, so I think it will be predefined.
But if you look at one of the new screens (Vito in some bar and drunk Joe waving at him, now I don't know if it's the one from a paper magazine or if it's been already published at some net's pages) you'll see Joes creased suit. It is open and Joe has a necktie hanging down, so now I think that maybe sides of Joe's tuxedo and his tie are what we'll see in a motion.

The fold on his back might be predefined , it looks like his jacket is sewn that way, and there is one more fold on the left side of his back to make a pair.

As you can see now, the coat (and clothes generally) isn't part of Joe, so I'm wonderind if it's also have own"moves" (depending on vito's motion)

Well, you were right, these clothes look to be much less textures than the clothes of Tommy Angelo were. I'm always sceptic about animation of clothes, becouse I haven't yet seen a realistic one, but these certainly at least look better than in Mafia I

Yeah, we all want Mafia to deliver everything, and I think most of the stuff that we look into, it actually will, however man it's Mafia, who cares if the jacket creases or whatnot :P
