This system is more realist in 3r person - with a camera angle more realist - than the system of Mafia ;) . And well, is better for console , . With a correct camera angle, but also is the way for a realistic combat in PC, in my opinion, in 3r person.

Just be patient everyone! I, too am looking forward to the new Mafia2-but I am still having fun with the 1st. Mafia, I just love the racing sequence!! I hope it is every bit as good as the 1st!! Also, I severly doubt Tommy Angelo will be in this new one-as he got shot at the end of the game in the first-also-did anyone else pick up on the 'Witness Protection Program' in the first game? Does anyone else realize that it did not exist at the time the first one took place? I must just be too nit-picky!! Please put the 'rush' on this new Mafia-Please! Thanks Elizabeth!!

Its great to have an official forum for such a great game and i thank u

I completed Mafia for 6 times and i m already planning to do it once more ...
although i played many games in almost all the genre's but its Mafia that
inspired me above all ... and to me along with every thing else the Story
in Mafia was the best i ever came across ... hoping for the same in Mafia II

I have watched the screenshots and trailer of Mafia II, the graphics look
excellent but its the story i m more concerned about ... i hope a gameplay
video of Mafia II becomes available soon ....

i read at IGN.com that Mafia II will be announced in 2009 ... can any one

Hi, I'm Mikey From Czech rep., I played Mafia campaign 29 times and it never bored me, it's the greatest game I ever play. Big thank to Take Two and Illusion Softworks ('Take Two Czech' now) for creating Mafia II, the trailer and pics look very nice, I hope that game will have the same graphic as those pics have. Also thanks for this forum, Elizabeth :)
P.S.: Daniel Vávra (main creator) said in his interview there will be no connection with Mafia I. Mafia II is clearly new story.

Once I get sufficient sign-ups, I will send each player a PM with their respective role. The PM will tell you who you are (e.g.: Susan Sto Helit aka Susan Death), what powers you have (e.g.: none, doc, investigator, roleblocker, etc...), and which side you are on (e.g.: town, mafia, self).
If you are Mafia, it will also tell you who is in your group. You may communicate with those people at all times through PM, email instant messenger or whatever. There may be more than one mafia group, and they may or may not know about each other.If people are voting for you during the day, yet you are innocent, you are allowed to Role Claim - that is, provide your role. Do not copy my message, only say your role and use your own words. Mafia will of course make fake RC's.

it should be more of a pistol kind shooter. thats how the first mafia was and im shore that everyone liked it that way. I loved when you always had a pistol and how they actually mattered in the game and it was not just a side arm. I also like how when you got like a big weapon (e.g. a shotgun or a thompson) you really appriciated it. please dont over use the big weapons too much.

that's a very good point and I would echo that, in most shooters the pistols are all but useless, have to use them a lot In Mafia 1, never really thought about that before :)
