eh. id just call it interesting. i liked the multi player maps, but the campaign and the gameplay.. just so dry and old. to me, it felt like a mod of call of duty 4... which essentially, it is.

i Just opened a brand new copy of call of duty: world at war yesterday and the first minutes of the game was badass! im in the forth level. man i love FIRST PERSON SHOOTERS!

if your looking for a good game for XBOX 360 id reccomend GEARS OF WAR, its not good storyline but if you want to play gow 2 teh you sould get to know the charaters. its more about action :)

I've been playing World Tour, but the Drums just broke. They didn't even last a month. It was a cable that connected the drum kit to each cymbal that allows them to be hit and registered. But well.. one snapped off. So I can't play drums really now. But I still own at Guitar and Bass.

Also I have been playing Halo 3 doing Team SWAT, which is awesome.

I wanted to upgrade for Alan Wake and Mafia 2 but had to upgrade sooner than expected due to network problems.

Having upgraded I am glad I've done so. I like vista a lot. It's a lot easier to use than XP.

Yes I've tried it and I hated RE5. But that's just me of course.

I've been playing a bit of Fable II, I don't have Knothole (sadly) and I'm just going through the game doing random stuff. I want to get the Red Dragon but the Westcliff Shooting Range is annyoing. I wish I didn't have to always hold Y the whole time. That frustrates me.

Also been doing some World at War which is pretty awesome online. STG-44 FTW! And I despise MP40 users that have Juggernoob and Last Stand/Matyrdom on it.

Finally I've been doing some Team SWAT on Halo, mainly because I love the BR and I love destroying people on it with my headshots

I've have finished Fallout 3 twice now. Once by sticking to the main mission, and the second time by completing all of the quests. Righteous! The ending was a little abrubt, however, but still the game of '08.

Been playing FarCry2 now for almost 2 weeks now and doing almost nothing else. I love it, but it's a verison a Russian friend of mine send me from Moscow and it has a lot of stuff missing, like all the extra stuff can't be played. AND the patch doesn't work.. I'll buy the full American verison as soon as I can. (But I DO wish the programers had put more thought into jumping out of a boat. It's a VERY major effort to just jump from the boat to the pier; waste most of the time doing just THAT..

CoD: WAW- Just Hardcore TDM and Hardcore S&D. Awesome fun although I prestiged and now I don't have all my good perks. :(

CoD4: I actually just played CoD4, just to do Hardcore which I never played before I stopped playing. And I must say it is a lot more fun than WAW. Maybe because CoD4 is balanced, rather than WAW, which is also full of bugs and glitches.

I did enjoy the Halo Wars demo. The controls were very simple and easy to use. I found it interesting how the game sort of feels simple yet complex in the same way (if that makes any sense..).

I'm still thinking about pre-ordering it. Maybe the LE for the Mythic Maps.

Since I got banned from my 360 for a while, I've been looking for alternatives. Today I found an email in my inbox telling me I have been accepted into the Quake Live Beta. For those of you that don't know, id Software are releasing a free, play in your browser version of Quake, very similar to Quake III (if not, exact, I do recognise one map from the Quake III demo but that's it). All multiplayer.

It's pretty cool, though I get murdered every game because everyone has played Quake before and they are all godlike.

LocoRoco 2 is happily devouring my time. :D

I never played the first game, but this one boasted more features, more levels, and retailed for $10 less!! How could I resist?!

Really, really fun game. Very creative (and very Japanese). The music is cute, as are the characters. And it has a wonderful pace that always keeps you wondering what new gimmick will be unlocked. I'm about 12 hours in, and I've had at least 8 cool surprises already. I can't wait to unlock everything!

Just got Bioshock for 360 yesterday, and I would have to say that the PS3 version ---> TO ME <--- is much better than the 360. You can see a ton more pixaling. The audio for the splicers talking didn't seem as creepy, but that one could just be me. Plus, the controller just doesn't feel right, I really should try to find a really good 360 controller than the one that came with the system. The D-pad was a pain for hacking stuff. I also didn't like how the bumpers worked or felt. Oh and not to mention all the little odds and ends they threw into the PS3 version like the loading screens and injecting EVE just seems easier on PS3.

^ i felt the same way when i tryed the PS3 demo, im used to playing fps on PS3 with R1 to fire weapon, just like resistance. if you played bioshock on 360 before the PS3 version then you would have gotten used to the controls. anyways, im playing mass effect on 360 and i cant wait for KILLZONE 2 this friday! :D

Left 4 Dead is a GREAT game. I can't wait until they come out with DLC myself.

GH:WT- Because I love the game and need a warmup for GH: Metallica.
Quake Live- Now it's gone Public Beta and it takes like half an hour just to get into the game. It's got soo many people playing that they need to queue over 10,000 people just to access the website. I miss the Private Beta. :(

I'm doing a second run threw of BS on 360 set to normal right now. It seems a lot easier then the PS3 ver. Killzone looks great, but I'm going to work on Halo Wars for right now. I'm sure the last boss isn't as hard as the last boss in the first devil may cry. that guy was just way to hard period.

Quake Live and nothing but it. This game is just pure awesome, now that they have removed the queue to get in. My friends and I started a clan strictly for us, called The Power Rangers and we are all a different colour. It gets us into some weird conversations in game but it's good fun.

I just wish Quake didn't have such a steep learning curve. Man this game is difficult.

I'm playing Grand Theft Auto: The Lost and Damned. It has some fun new additions to it like better motorcycles with improved physics and new weapons. I'm also glad to see they put turf wars back into the single player mode. I preferred how they did it in san andreas though. In SA once you took over a turf it became your turf (in gta 4 winning a turf war doesn't really do much besides get you a new weapon that respawns at your safehouse each time you beat a certain number of them) and different colours would represent a neutral turf, enemy turf, or your turf. I really hope they reintroduce the old turf war concept into a new Gta or an expansion for the current one.

It's a bit of an old game but have you played Okami? Its really on a platform of its own. If you liked shadow of the colossus I would recommend checking it out.

Yeah i got it a few weeks ago. It's not that bad of a game. I did feel a little let down, but I think that is just me. All these high end graphic games coming out are starting to spoil me. Dare I say I might pick up a Wii and see what there putting out. Sorry GameCube.

I loved the coloration. The bosses where kind of nerve racking, but that is a Japanese game for ya. Still enjoyed fighting them. As for the travel WTF was up with that. Did the developer really think riding a horse for so long with NOTHING else to do was a good idea. It was like watching lord of the rings. walk walk walk fight walk walk walk walk watch out bolder walk walk walk the end. I liked how Link got attacked a little while riding his horse in TLP. I can't believe you guys havent said anything about ICO yet.

Fallout 3 is vast, intricate, choice laden, and amazing. And is dead space really that scary? I want to try it. I almost rented it yesterday but got Afro Samurai instead just to hear Samuel L. Jackson say MF oer and over.

Dead Space is great. I haven't finished it, but playing it with the lights off late at night with the sound pumped up is quite the experience. The best part of the game in my opinion, is every time you meet a new enemy. Trying to figure out what limb to chop off to make it less threatening has produced some strange looks on my face. I have yet to scream though...

I need to finish it and Mirror's Edge. I think I'm the only one left that enjoys that game. :(

Finally got to play Resident Evil 5 today. Am liking it :D Game play feels almost exactly like RE4 but i like how it feels. Havent got that far into it yet, playing it again tomorrow is just a rental for now. Been waiting ages for this. The graphics are certainly very impressive :)

If you dont like it you dont like it. I've always been a fan of the RE series. Started off with RE2. I loved RE4, my fav character is Leon who was first in RE2 then he was in RE4 too. This one does have a different feel from the older original ones, keeping to the new style following on from RE4. I dunno i just like the feel of it. If you dont like RE4 then you prob wouldnt like RE5 either cause it feels very similar, just with better graphics and a different location, characters (kind of, Chris is from RE1) and story. I wasnt sure how i felt about it being set in Africa and everything, just seemed too different from the other games. But now that i've played it i do like it

Maybe worth giving it another shot. Some games i havent liked at all at first, then after making myself play it for longer i really get into them. Alone in the Dark was like this for me, didnt like it at first took awhile to get into it then i really liked it. Can just take some getting into first before you begin to enjoy it, might be worth another try :)

True - RE5 is very simular to RE4. Resident Evil 4 was a complete reinvention of the series as Resident Evil 1, 2 and 3 were all simular to one another, I heard that Capcom are going to reinvent the series again with the 6th game.

As for Dead Space - I didn't find it that scary, there were 1 or 2 parts in the game that made me jump, but its quite predictable when the scares are going to happen next, the atmosphere and settings of the game are pretty scarey themselves without the set pieces, it is well worth playing though.

thats true about the graphics, resident evil 5 looks better on XBOX
cuz capcom messed up on the PS3 version.
the shadows and textures look blurry compared to the 360 version.
might get it on 360 then, some people on my freinds list want to play

I've been wanting to watch the movie(saw it at the video store the other day, too), read the comics, etc., but I'd rather finish the game first. I'd recommend others do the same as well, if they want a good experience out of it. Best not have things explained and ruin the mystery when you're playing the game.

They are infected in a way, basically early on you learn that the manta ray type creatures you see sticking thier probiscus into create new necromorphs using the dead material as a host and raw material, whilst the others make more corpses to convert. The markers relationship to them is still a little mysterious to me and i have no idea if its supernatural or scientific. Great game though....i really need to finish my ultra hard run, thanks to getting pretty damn good at it as well as upgrading the right weapons im mowing them down.

As for what im playing, Caeser III, old windows 95 game i played the demo of as a kid over and over and over......now a decade later i rememeber it and find a rapidshare for it, im loving it ended up missing my 2am sleep deadline by 2 hours....

Anyone who bothered to read my wall of text in the "How was your day" thread will know that I'm now playing Neverwinter Nights 2.

It took me a few hours of playing to finally start really having fun. It's not that it was boring at the start, I just wasn't sucked into it yet.
The story is pretty cliché so far, but I've heard that it gets really good.
The voice acting is good, and the characters are pretty likeable(or piss me off, which is also a sign of a job well done) with plenty of backstory to tell me if I happen to ask them, which I do because I always try to make sure I don't miss out on anything.

Today I got Street Fighter IV and I must say it's certainly fun being I've never played a Street Fighter game or like fighting games in general. Onlines pretty good too, rarely any lag so lots of quick paced fighting action.

Although I hate some characters as they have a sort of "I Win" move. And some of the characters when the CPU controls make me want to smash the controller into the screen. I'm playing on Very Easy (second lowest) and I'm still getting murdered by some characters because they always use a grab move that does tons of damage. Mainly Abel and Zangief (god I hate that guy).

It's awesome! :D the only way to keep your health up is with warmth (the game is set in antartica (or somewhere just as icy on a ship)) from pretty much any heat source ie light bulbs flaming torches ect but depending on the heat source is the amount of health you get and if you stand around you slowly lose heat and therefore life, so you have to keep on the move.

fighting is pretty easy to get used to it's sort of like Dark messiah with melee ie. you push backwards and punch you do a different punch than pushing foward and punch, i havn't played through much so i dont know much about any other weapons.

The best part i've come across is how you can save corpses from their fates, the first one you come across at the start of the game is frozen and blocking a doorway you have to go thru, so some mystical thing happens and you actually get to control the person that was the corpse in the moments before his death to save him from his fate (and give you access thru the doorway:D lol).

Oh i dunno im sure if they toned it down slightly the PS3 could handle it, playing Killzone 2 on my Roommates PS3 (complete with 1080p TV and excellent sound system with apocalyptic bass) has been an experience.

I've heard that the PS3 has a better CPU, but a worse GPU. Not to mention KZ2 has been in development for ages, and specifically for the PS3. But that's a slightly different subject.

I've been getting into Neverwinter Nights 2 more and more. Shortly after killing an evil necromancer and around half of his zombie and skeleton horde, I found myself randomly feeling very happy. I don't know what it is, but the game is becoming incredibly fun.

I've mainly been playing some Street Fight IV. Just practicing for online because online I am terrible. I get murdered every single game. Originally I'd play Ken because he is pretty simple, but now I've tried to stick to playing Abel. I think he's a pretty cool character and not easy mode like Ken.

Also been playing some Guitar Hero (III and World Tour). I finally passed TTFAF! I started playing Guitar Hero (for the first time) on April 17 last year, so it has taken me almost a year to get through that song. Although I did beat Career on Expert by September last year, TTFAF was the challenge. The song isn't that hard, it's just the Intro. Once I got through that it was easy mode for me.

Finally some CoD4. Because CoD4 is superior to WAW. Although now I have the feeling to go and play Halo 3..

I've really rekindled my interest in TES4: Oblivion since I just pirated the shivering isles and all the plug ins. I think that the shivering isles was one of the best expansions on any game I've played in a while, it added a whole hell of a lot more quests, items, alchemical ingredients etc etc. The plug ins were pretty cool too, I can't wait to crack into the knights of the nine.

Playing TimeShift today. Had it for ages but not played it till today. Is pretty good, some bits are annoying though. Stopping and slowing time is fun :D

shellshock 2: blood trails, im trying to beat it before i return it on friday.
im already on the last level but the zombies are real pain in the..
and im only playing on normal. the zombies would start running
at you and hitting you and its hard to reload with them around.
the game is terrible and fustarting as turok. i just want the achivemnet
to show that i beat the game.

Recently I have beem playing World Tour, trying to make some decent songs for my friends. It's good fun imagiining a song but it's sometimes hard to execute.

Also CoD4 with my friends. We play Hardcore HQ and it's absolutely a blast to play. Real good fun with the added bonus of a lot of EXP. Finally I've been trying to fit finishing BioShock with all the achievements in and Street Fighter IV because it's pure awesome. Abel FTW!

Having read quite alot of info about Bioshock 2 and seeing the in-game trailer, tempted me back to Rapture - I am now playing Bioshock for the 4th time, even though I have all of the achievements on 360 and have nothing left to do I simply can't get enough, so am playing on Normal - which is the only difficulty I hadn't played and am harvesting and saving the Little Sisters, mixing it up. rather than doing one all or the other all the way through.

Is DoWII better than CoH?

Hmm, both have their merits but personally i prefer DOWII, more factions (although the commander choosing in CoH makes up for this), more personality, much more interesting campaign with an interesting setup and the MP at the moment is pretty cool.

Id go for DOWII as being better but in the end its personal taste.

Started playing Halo 3 again because I am bored. Literally smashed my controller twice while playing it because of the sheer frustration the game gives me.. I don't understand why I find Halo so frustrating. My controller still works, it's just part of it has broken off.

Im still on RE5, only got 2 achievements to get :) Really dont think i'll be able to get the last one since you die in one hit on Professional difficulty. Made it to chapter 2-1 so far, trying to make it to the end of this one at the moment. Even with loads of health and an infinite Rocket Launcher it aint easy, if i take a single hit i go into dying status and that goes down to zero in literally a few seconds. Even if Sheva is practically right next to me she sometimes cant make it to me in time before i die. This sure is a challengeing achievement

But truthfully, it's stereotypical, but awesome. :D

I've been playing CoD4 with friends over multiple gametypes. I have no intentions to Prestige so I'm aiming for a Golden Dragunov at the moment. It's going to be hard, but very rewarding in the end since every headshot I land makes me feel good. Especially when you get like five in a row.

Also some SFIV. Been practicing with Abel and got a few combos down. Aiming for some achievements but occacsionally play online since I always get thrashed each game.

Right now, I'm running through BioShock (for the God-knows-how-many'th time). I'm on Fort Frolic right now, so about half-way through. After I'm done, I'll probably go back and play through The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (which, just for the sake of mentioning, is my favorite game of all time) again. Been awhile since my last playthrough.

Aside from Bioshock, im not touching another fps for a long time. I had KZ2 (good for a week), Fear2 & COD4. Christ enough is enough its the same rehashed bs over n over. I might get flamed for this but enough with the WW 1&2 **** too *cough*COD*cough* we've played all that unimaginative **** before time and time again.

Thats a testament to bioshocks greatness though, it shines thru it all.
