The "Bad" ending of the game...

So, I just replayed Bioshock, and decided to kill every Little Sister. Now, I have just finished up with Fontaine, and watched the end cinematic.

I have just one little question, what happened? It doesn't make much sense to me, can some one help clarify (the thing that came out and started killing the submarine crew, etc.)

ok jack lets the splicers out into the real world......and that thing that came out of the bathosphere was a splicer that killed them then it goes to the film of the nuke and you suppose they st it off some where
