First of all, when will the official website of Civ Revolution be made?

Second, what will be on the website?

Thank you to anyone who answers these questions! :D

the official website should be up soon and will have a lot of information about the game, as well as frequent community updates including podcasts, Q&A with the programmers, contests, and more.

Thanks for the info. I can't wait for the game to be released. (I've got 40 dollars saved for it ;) )

There's already plenty information on CFC's CivRev forum (http://forums.civfanatics.com/forumdisplay.php?f=270) and Apolyton's CivRev forum (http://www.apolyton.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=324).

I noticed there is a unique unit listed for the Mongols (Keshik), but what about for Eqypt? War Chariot I would guess, but it'd be nice to have confirmation on Cleo's info page.

Awesome work on the site too, it looks outstanding.

not all civilizations have unique units. each civilization has a different mix of bonuses. all the bonuses you see for Egypt are listed!

Is it just me, or does Catherine The Great's animation look as if she's suffering from terminal flatulence?

Only joshin' guys! Great site btw. :)

On your official website, you mention, "From 360 downloads to screen savers to tee shirts, when we dream it up, we'll put it here, and tell you how you can go about getting it." When you say t shirts, do you mean tshirts with CivRev art, or just iron ons? I would prefer an actual t shirt myself.

I was under the impression from some FAQs and posts that there would be four bonuses per civilization. But Cleopatra has five listed on her info page...

Do all civilizations have 5 bonuses like Cleopatra?

Are all bonuses given to each civilization granted at the same eras in the game? (Starting, Ancient, Medieval, Industrial, Modern)

As a Civilization veteran, I am confused by the Starting and Ancient eras mentioned on Cleopatra's info page. Is the Ancient era no longer the first era you begin the game with?

From Civ Rev.com...........

Bonuses for American Civilization
Starting: Begin the game with a Great Person
Ancient: 2% interest on gold
Medieval: Rush units at half-price
Industrial: +1 food from plains
Modern: Factories provide 3x production
Unique Units: Tank becomes Sherman Tank, Bomber becomes Flying Fortress, Fighter becomes Mustang Fighter

Bonuses for Indian Civilization
Starting: Begin with access to all resources
Ancient: Cities not affected by Anarchy
Medieval: Free Religion tech
Industrial: Half-price Settlers
Modern: Half-price Courthouse

Am I missing something here, or does Ghandi's half-price Settlers at the Industrial Age suggest that there's likely to still be land to be colonized at that late stage of the game? Also, half-price Courthouse at Modern. Most players typically build a Courthouse in every city well before the Industrial Age, as doing so puts a few bob in the coffers!

In the light of this, are both bonuses simply nerfs for India, to compensate for the flying start the country gets? Or does Civ Rev play out in such a totally different way to its PC counterparts, that both bonuses are actually quite useful?

I made the same observation as you. India has a really nice start but seems like the end is quite bad. Might also be so that they calculate that the guy playing India should have an advantage so the others have a chance towards the end but that doesnt seem likely.

Lol, I reckon there's gonna be some serious head scratching going on around the world when this bad boy finally hits the shelves! It's not hard to see why some people are saying that the hardest decision you're gonna have to make in Civ Rev, is who to play as. :D

I still have a few doubts about the randomized AI opponents though, despite being more than up for the challenge!

We can only hope that they've got the balance right from the off!

In addition to the above questions, I'm curious to know if the bonuses for each Civ are retained throughout the eras. For example, does Lincoln still receive 2% interest on gold in the modern era? Thanks in advance.
