Good News For Those With DS!

I just saw an interview on youtube with a member of Firaxis Games and about 1 minute and 7 seconds into the video, he said that the gameplay on the DS will be the same as on other consoles. :D

this information is correct! the DS is not scaled down -- just different graphics. same awesome gameplay.

The good news for the people with a DS, is that they aren't playing the ps3 version.

I have the DS version and it works fine in Single Player Mode. Have not tried MP so I can't give an opinion on that.

The game is very fast and for the most part is very good. The only areas that are a little weak are the limited Diplomacy, (you always seem to be at war most of the time) and the flawed old fashioned battle system. (They should have used the Civ4 system instead of the civ2/3 system).

But you have Civ in your pocket, you have to love that.

I found in the ds version my vet horseman armies kept losing to a single warrior unit. bizarre
